Today I went to do a little side job. I was sawing this small piece of wood, about foot and a half long. Well it was a crap of a saw, black and decker home use saw :| I had my pro skillsaw in the truck, I was gonna get it, that beast cuts up anything, heck used that to cut a 4 inch steel bar once and didn't give me probs. Well back to the subject, was using that cheap saw and the thing was kicking because it was old wood and it was the hard kind, anyway I go saw it and it was kicking, then my "boss" had the idea to put his hand and hold the wood so the saw wouldn't kick. I told him to remove his hand, I mean he had his hand like 6 inches away from where I was cutting, he saw" na na it's ok I hold it and you cut" I warned him again and he got a little mad and said "just cut already!!!!" [lol] Well, I went ahead and as expected the saw kicked back and sliced and diced his right thumb :| Blood was gushing all over the place. Fortunately it did not cut it off, it reached down to the bone, we could see it, gruesome eh? So lesson of today, follow the employees directions [lol] He did not go to the hospital, we dipped the finger in oxygenated water, gauzed it up and he was ok, it would bleed if he moved his hand or anythng but he says he'll be allright. I wasn't gonna charge him for the work, only $60 anyway for what I did, when he paid me he gave me $150 and he said this "I gave you this extra money cuz I am stupid at not listening to you." [lol] Pretty sad tho, he shoulda listened and none of that woulda happend. Oh well, that was gruesome to see, just not as gruesome as to what I saw the other day, but I wont go into those details or else some of you will puke all over your keyboards, that other incident resulted in death [:O]

WTF!?
That had to hurt!
At my school (or so I've been told) one time someone got his/her hair wound up on a drill. Yowch.
Also, last year, two boys were chasing eachother in the PE dressing rooms, and one ran into a "modular shower" (plastic plates, connected by metal hinges etc.) and closed the door too early. Result: fingertips cut off.

In the welding lab at my school there has been alot of peeps that have burned themselves, not from the flames on the torches, but by picking up red-hot pieces of metal with holy gloves. I am one of these peeps lol. When I was ark (i not sure how to spell it) welding a small piece of metal the electrold got stuck, so I was shaking it around in the air trying to detach it and it fell to the floor, then (not thinking) i reach with my bad glove (has a big hole in the thum) and picked it up. lol

when i was younger i foolsihly had my hands resting on the hinges of my mom's station wagon. well, when she opened the trunk all 8 of my 10 fingers got crunched...lets just say that my mom realized i had a very "coullerfull" vocabulary. another time was when i was around 4 and i was playing with my dog. i tied him to the door of my room and he tried to take off...well my finger was in the doorway and i lost my thumbnail. i kicked my dog and my dad heared him yelp so he got up and yelled at me for kicking the dog.

last year at school this girl thought i was someone else and i was wearing my birks, well, she slammed my toe in the door and i broke one and my toe nail fell off the other one and my toes were bloody and broken and black. also when i was 4, i fell out of a go cart at 30 mph head first without a helmet and another time when i was 2 i stuck a screw driver in a electric socket.

I once was practicing skim boarding and as I was waiting for the wave to pass, it slipped out of my hand and drop right on my toe. I had broken my pinky toe on my right foot and couldn't skim board for a week (that's how bad it hurt)

i can kinda remember it a lil. I was a lil youngster when it happened. I was climbing into a lake from a ladder and i slipped from the moss growing on the ladder. My head cracked open a lil or somethin and blood was everywhere. All i can really remember is blood and screams really. I had it stitched and still have a lil bump on the back of my head to remember it by.

I remember when little, I came running out the front door, tripped over 2 steps and flew into the fence. Next thing I remember, I'm laying down watching Batman w/ a broken nose.

Another time, my cousins were playing "Indians" and grabbed an aluminum tree post (a hollow post) and used it as a spear. They said "Wild beast! Spear it!" Next thing I hear is "Move out the way *smack*" I was speared right as they got the word "move" out. I was cut on my right side of my head as it was pouring blood out and as I stood there holding the spear.....All these childhood memories...
