SLC's make me scream.[:O]
But not for fun, for pain.
SLCs are head bangers and I always get headaches after riding them. Mind Bender is an example: I got such a big headache that I had to go to the hotel room i was staying in and rest while having some tylenol. Then I went to the SFWoA again, rode Mind Bender again and the same thing happened. Good thing I brought my tylenol with me this time [lol]
What do you think??? Invertigos aren't any better, they are as rough as boomerangs. I think 1/2 of all the rides at CC and WWS are smoother than SLCs, Invertigos and boomerangs.

SLCs are way better than almost every B&M. They're intense, and sometimes don't hurt. They'd be so amazing if they were just a bit smoother.

Our hang -n- bang, Kong used to run smooth but eversince they placed new trains on it, it's been a banger. Overall, I like it's compact layout.

And yes the Harness Suck. The padding suck but the rides are still fun. Oh I found that keeping your head back like the ride says helps alot. I know you have the urge to look out but don't or you'll bang your head on the harnesses. And don't rest your head on the back at the end the brakes kick on so hard you can also get a headache from that too.[:)]

yeah, the brakes are pretty intense, but I always keep my head back even then and its fine. But it is like 1 g deceleration, which IS a lot.

Top Gun @ PCW was abit like that. But what's the fun of ridding a perfectly smooth coaster? When your getting thrown around you feel way more out of control then with a smooth coaster. And keeping your head back (which is what they told us to do) helps alot for those that don't like the headbanging.

I still find they are great rides, they do tend to be rough but isn't that what makes it so fun. Just gives it a little more intensity

This is why I don't like B&Ms [;)]

On B&Ms, you are so controlled, it doesn't give any intensity at all, and the smoothness just makes it even more tame. On woodies, your always thrown around a lot, and you fly around the track so wildly making it an intense ride, where on most steel coasters you just sit in your seat, making the ride not very thrilling at all. SLCs are way more intense than B&Ms because of how much they slam you around and how you get whipped around the track so fast. Woodies are the best because they have force in 3 directions, throw you around, AND have an out of control feeling, when most steelies only have positive gs, are controlled most of the time, and are too smooth. SLCs have the intensity and most characteristics of wood, making them a great ride.

oh shut up

SLC's are very rough but its true they are fun. I like inline twists so there you go. in rct2 you can use compast inverted roller coaster for SLC's, i think

I'll ride a B&M anyday over Vekoma. I don't care if there controlled, or too smooth, I'd rather be in one piece, than pieces...[;)]

Correction to my original post Mind Eraser not Mindbender is still correct but Mind Eraser is the Vekoma Boomerang and Serial Thriller is the cool Red and Teal SLC. [:)]
