ModelMaker's comments:
- A launch out of an moving train is impossible. the train needs to be stopped before there is even a possibility for a launch. Or it has to have an preknown speed, and the speed in this launch may vary! This has to do with the positioning of the train.
Impulse coasters get a boost while moving. And as for the positioning of the train and other factors, thats what the ride computers and sensors are for.
- The helixes are quite extreme. A helix that keeps a 4,5 G for more then 3 seconds can be quite heavy. Even for experienced riders it can cause a total blackout.
Goliath SFMM, Titan SFOT.
The tophat manouvre that you used is way to slow for a coaster. The guideline is to keep the speeds above 30 KPH and the speed on this coaster dropped below the 16 KPH.
Slow speed is to give a 'hanging' feeling at the top. Which is also why the track is banked 90 degree's from the ground. Just because it is a tophat doesn't mean it has to sail over the top.
It is like a top thrill dragster without a tophat.
Uh, it does have one?
Just another intamin coaster with another tophat. The tophat was the only innovative thing I've seen on the ride.
Bit of a contradiction?
