Hey guys! I've been recently learning modeling in Google Sketchup and was able to come up with a picture of a test model I made.. Take a look:

Yeah... So anyways, what does this mean? it means that I'm going to be making some cooler indoor/outdoor well themed coasters!
Quick question though, is there a way to export the track in any way so that I can model around the track? Or do I just have to model first then do the track? Just curious because I would like the best solution available.

Working on mine, I've actually been measuring out the given length/height of track in NL2 and making the object in sketchup in relationship to the coaster. On my recent project, I did rather simple buildings to get the measurements down and the door openings in the proper places. Nice thing is that when you update your 3D model (overwriting the existing model), next time you launch your park, the object will be refreshed.

I've been kind of working on 3D models as I go along on the track actually. Hope this helps!

Thanks alot for the help! I'll use your tips and see what goes down! Now on the other hand, how do ya do textures? Like just how? I mean I have the texture itself, I just dont know how to import them into NL2.

There's something to be said about one man complimenting another man's shaft...

^^

You have to Export it as 3ds in Sketchup, then you go to scenery and pretty much just import it in, it isnt that hard.
