yeah just saw it on Fox News though they are going crazy and saying a "disaster occurred on the world's tallest and fastest wooden roller coaster" piff @ the disaster

^^ditto, I wouldn't call it a disaster unless most of the riders died, and none did. I also read in a cincinnati newspeper site that one of the riders that got hurt says that SoB was her favorite ride, now she says that she'll never ride it again. I don't blame her.

Anyone who says SOB is her fave ride has obviously only been on one coaster.

Well, that was speaking in general. But considering I was talking about a person who loved it (Which, you must give people their opinions) thats a moronic thing to do.

However, upon its reputation, it is stupid to even ride it. Im glad it was down when I was there. I may have been tempted for the credit.

Didn't PKI just recently re track SoB?

I have heard that SOB is a billion times better than it was during its opening season. Even so, I still find it hard to imagine that I'd ride it again, even if there was no line.
SOB remains to this day the ONLY wooden coaster I've ever wanted OFF before the ride was over. I spent the entire ride from the bottom of the first drop to the station holding my head between my arms, trying to keep my brain from shaking in my skull. I had a migraine for three days after and it ruined a big chunk of my vacation that year.

Well my current events teacher says that television news has really lowered there level on reporting that they try to get attention like watch are news station, but that is just obvious.

It looks like the education system has gotten pretty loose on things like punctuation and spelling, too.

i went on the Son of Beast 2 days before it broke. And I don't think any of you know about bunpy compared to what I experienced. I don't think the ride is bad it just suks if your tall, which I am 6'2". The bumpiness on the Beast is a more bone shattering bump (no offense to the Beast) where as Son of Beast your whole body shakes. If you are tall you probably know what I'm talking about when I say it hurts your legs and mostly your knee's. I rode Son of Beast on July 7th. Their is still a dent in by knee from that handle bar.

Personally I think the smoothest part of SOB excluding the loop is the first drop.
