Being that I have no patience, I decided to start a new project while Ianko66 finishes up with 3Ds for Molliwopper. This X-Car is quite unique, including a beyond vertical 120????????? LIM launch.

SpasM
Stats:
Launch Speed: 24 mph
Drop: 123'
Length: 2680'
Inversions: 4
Cars/Trains: 1/4

Here's the layout overview!

[UPDATE: 9/6/08]
Trackwork: 100%
Extras/3Ds: 100%

Supports: 90%
Landscaping: 50%

I made my first 3D Station, using google sketchup pro. Its not really intricate, but it fits well with the track and goes with my environment. I'm looking to release this later on Sunday. Hopefully you guys like it. Sorry no pictures I'm tired and lazy.

So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

looks nice dude, i still can't get a hang of the fvd'd zero g roll. You think you have a lack of patients though? Ha, I've been waiting on two custom stations for months now, and in the mean time I've started like, 4 or 5 new projects and took the time to learn fvd's. lol. Anyways, looks pretty sick man. Looking forward to it.

It looks perfectly set, but I'm curious to see some of those weird elements and angles. Mind sending it to me for a quick test/run-through?

My AIM should be in my profile; I'm on now.

Edit: Now it is in my profile.

This ride looks too long for an X Car, especially when you are using 1 car trains.

Well, its only 2680' and the cars release every 16 seconds from the station. There's an exit station, and a loading station. It was kindof based off of the new X-Car at Universal.

The new X-Car at Universal has 7 car trains if I'm not mistaken.

Edit: WRONG haha

In the lat pic, is it just the angle or is it really stretched in the middle?

why cant he do something different? its not even that different, its just a longer. rides can have different lengths. theres no length limit set in stone. i see no problem with it.

this ride is pretty sick guys. i cant wait to see it with finished supports and that station!

The inversion is designed for hangtime. It is indeed stretched, but not unrealisticly. The speed of the train through the element makes it seem fast, providing about 0.5 seconds of hangtime.

EDIT: btw Alton_ ... Capacity is 1440 pph.

I have to admit I think some of the shaping looks odd, but I will wait for the final product to jump to any conclusions. Looks pretty interesting though ;)
