How important is customer service to you? Would you feel equally satisfied if the same coffee was sold at Dunkin Donuts or Yum Yum Donuts but you receive the customer attention those companies give you?

What makes you want to buy at Starbucks?
What makes you not buy at Starbucks?
What do you recommend to improve starbucks?
What is their problem, if any?

I believe the costumer service plays a huge part. I'm a huge coffee addict, and thus, a starbucks addict. At the one near my house, the people are always ridiculously friendly. I can remember a time when me and erik(jensenator) were sitting in starbucks, and jensen couldn't afford a drink. Luckly enough, one of the barista's made an incorrect drink for a customer. Instead of making jensen pay for it, they just gave it to him free. It was a large too. bout 6 bucks worth of coffee absolutely free. As far as ways they could approve, lol. Have a pumpkin spice latte all year round, oh, and never charge for extra shots. (i always get a triple tall.)

starbucks can suck it. it's the mc donalds of coffee shops an insult to coffee culture , a place where people who dont belong in coffee shops can pretend they are at a coffee house, when in fact they might as well be at 7-11 . i have starbucks on sunday mornings because there isnt a real coffee shop nearby. the people who work there are boring nobodies, but the service is good . and there's those stupid displays full of generic folk and world music cds. it's like being in a wal mart.

Their black coffee is ok. Kenya is amazing, Italian is amazing, Pikes place (their usual coffee) blows complete ass and taste like cardboard. Sumatra is ok too sometimes.

It depends on which Starbucks I go to. Only like 2 out of the 20 that are in a 10mile radius of my school are good. The rest can go suck it.
Sometimes you gotta sacrifice a little bit of yourself to get the job done.

No their black coffee is absolutely atrocious. There is no excuse for a large company like that with high tech machines and stuff to make coffee worse than what I made over a goddamned fire in the middle of nowhere Nevada with the cheapest coffee I could fine at the store.

It was worse than that coffee, and it had like a 1000% price increase. Buttlickers.

There is 1 Starbucks near me, plus one at the St Louis Mills. I don't go to either of them, I just buy a frap from the vending machine at my school. Those things are amazing.

I only go there if one of my friends want to. Its usually the girls that want to go there.

The only thing I really like about it (or anyother premium coffee place) is that they usually have comfortable chairs to sit on compared to other cheap places.

I'm also not really a coffee person, but I just have to say that I find no difference between buying a $4 coffee at Starbucks and buying a $1.50 extra large coffee from Tim Hortons.

Why do I want to go to starbucks? I have a friend who works at one of them and gives me free coffee from time to time. Otherwise, nothing.

I work at Starbucks. I believe that most customers comeback because I connect with them very well. I know a lot of customers by their name and the drink they order, I also know a lot of peoples background and such. Most of our customers do not order our standard black coffee which is Pikes Place Roast around the globe. We offer different lattes and special lattes such as Pumpkin Spice.

As a customer I steer clear of starbucks, The employee discount is not even enough to get me to order a cup of coffee. For a short coffee (our smallest size) it costs $1.47 (including tax) and that is for 8 fl. ounces. Our largest coffee (20 ounce) is $2.10(including taxes) The company is a rip off, and I have no problem telling the customers that.

Our company throws away a ton of product everyday, I believe that if we were to lower our prices we would obtain more business and have less to throw away. Every half an hour we have to brew a new pot of coffee which is 2 liters. During the night after 3:30 we throw most, if not all of the coffee away. This is upsetting to me because I am a liberal. A huge Left Wing liberal. Throwing all this product away shatters me.

We are also launching a new instant coffee starting tuesday or wednesday (I can't remember) and although it tastes extremely similar to our regular brewed coffee it promises what it can't bring. The company advertises this coffee to dissolve in hot or cold water. It sucks and clogs up in cold water. avoid Via like the plague.

^ i agree, starbucks is a rip off... but i do think there bagged coffee is reasonably priced. To me, i could go to krogers and by a bag of dunkin'dark, which is a fantastically good coffee for like 7 or 8 bucks a bag, or i could pay only 2 dollars more for starbucks kenya or italian blend, which kicks the poop outa dunkin'dark. either one works fine.
