Thought this was simple but I maybe missing something.

1 park, 2 rides, ride A takes about 28 seconds to get back to its station, ride B takes about 33 seconds. Ride A station set to synchronize launch with station on ride B. But it does not wait for ride B to start! Ride B not set to synch with anything.

Ride B of course just goes through its harness/gates/harness routine and launches when its ready, but why isn't ride A waiting for ride B to launch?

As I understand it, ride A should only launch when ride B is ready to go however long it is behind ride A. But am I wrong?

Have you set both coasters to synch up with each other? Both station platforms need to know to coordinate, otherwise it'll run as normal. I've had it running without issue...

No I didn't - thinking that if I set A to wait for B, then A would wait and B would just run on its normal cycle - releasing A every time it was ready to launch - but I'll try what you suggest and get back.

Ok I've now set each station to synchronize with the other, and apart from the initial launch, ride A gets back first and launches well before ride B relaunches.[?]

Its a very simple setup of two rides - and I'm puzzled.

Any other thoughts???

Trains only sync up if it doesn't violate their own timetable. A train will leave once it hits the max wait time, regardless of sync setting. Increase the max wait time of the train that finishes first so that enough time will pass to allow the slower train to arrive and go through it's station process. Then they will leave at the same time.

Also, you only have to have both trains set to wait if they finish close to the same time. If one arrives significantly before the other you only have to set the sync option of the first arrive. What happens when they arrive at similar times is this: if Train A is set to wait for Train B, and Train B arrives first it will finish it's station process and move on because it doesn't know to wait for A. If Train A can safely be said to always arrive first you only have to sync it with Train B since Train A will always have to wait and Train B will never have to wait.

THAT was the crucial piece of info I was unaware of - thank you - all working as expected.
