Taking It Back to 2003!

Well, by the time you arrive at this thread, unless you're a premium member, you've seen we've gone throwback and are using a color scheme, header, other graphic files that we used in 2003!

We're running this throwback theme while we work up the new site. I hope you guys like it and hope it brings back wonderful memories. For those that remember this theme from way back, yes, you've been visiting us for 10+ years. Thank you for your thousands of visits and here's to thousands more!

It auto changed it to fix all the deadlines that used to point to the founding site, wws. So whenever you type it out, it replaces with coastercrazy.

As for that site, it went to become something else more representative of the name

oh the days of wws! lol. I remember when my mom came across the url on the family computer we used to have and was like wtf is this and i had the hardest time explaining it was for a roller coaster game i played and eventually had oscar help me out explaining it to her lmao.

It was 2003 when a young Mexican working in a liquor store in the barrios came up with the idea for CoasterCrazy.com. Between the random acts of gunfire and trying not to drop bottles of wine onto his feet, Oscar built and evolved CoasterCrazy.com over the next decade into what it is today.

Of course he had some help from friends along the way. And a community of users who contributed their wonderful creations to his site.

As we enter the final few weeks of operations for the old site, I figure its time we paid tribute to times gone by. From now until the new site comes online we will be using the "Coaster Legacy" theme.

Back in the day, WWS was blue, and CC was red. We always joke that Oscar wasn't sure which gang colors he wanted to represent. So to keep the peace, he chose both.

I just didn't want to be shot by either side so I had to stick with both

Yet wws always has been the most popular site to visit.

One thing in common I don't think you'll be able to find a better coaster site then coastercrazy. This is the site I always go to for posting or maybe hang out. Anyway I happen to come across one of my favorate NL track. What ever happen to Space Mountain 2005? Here at: http://www.coastercrazy.com/track_exchange/detail/11736 I don't think you can download it anymore but If anything I still have it[:)] This use to be one of my favorates.

Yeah, that otherwise was totally nuts. While I'm on here, I'd like to give a shout out to Matt from NLE. Nice job bro! (no I'm not being sarcastic we used to chat on IM before but then he like disappeared)

Back ontopic, the throwback brings so back so many member memories such as Master of Puppets, G Force Addict Symbiotic and many more. We need to have an irl reunion sometime xD

I wish that bockzilla or barone would show up. I knew that there was once wws, but why was it called like that again? I'm not sure if I've ever heard that story.

Uh, BTW, I can't open the chat. Maybe it has something to do with the layout change.
