If i recall correctly, the site originally started as a place for oscar to showcase his tracks and it eventually evolved into a larger exchange. The site was named after Oscar's former handle WWS

I didn't even notice the color change at first because after typing in coastercrazy.com, the blue colors always make me forget I'm not on WWS.

I've been a member since the old days (2003)...High school memories, my early coaster enthusiast days...all of these coming back when I see the red scheme and the CC logo! Even my avatar...reminds me of back when I started using Photoshop... Coaster Crazy was the site to browse when I was at school and WWS...well, that was meant to be viewed at home to keep from raising questions at what I'm looking at.

I stopped posting here for a while as I got really active over at another site (leaving names out here). I decided to let go of that site due to observations made, and not liking what I was seeing. I decided to start focusing on my blog (local park updates) instead as I didn't feel like I was putting too much into it. Back to here... I think the dawn of NL2 really brought me back here and this really does feel like way back when, the days when NL1 was new hotness.

Ah yes, WWS, lol. I don't come around often but I've been a member since the beginning as well. It's crazy that 11 years has gone by. It really is. Well, here is to another 11 years! ;D

NL2 is released, seemingly after an eternity of waiting. Just trying it out was nothing but a nostalgia trip, I had to check out the other old coaster sites I used to frequent. Seems that many of them are gone, but CC is still here, so I just had to login and say hi. Simply browsing the forums brought on another nostalgia trip. I still remember the Cedar Point meetup and awkwardly asking wws to change my username so that "individual" in my user name was spelled correctly. For whatever reason in my high school youth I really didn't want to use my online moniker at the time for a coaster site and opted for a generic name with the word "coaster" in it. Anyways I didn't use spell check when registering a username and spelled it "indavidual", so I asked Oscar if he could change it while we were on a ride at CP.

Also I'm pretty sure the CP meetup was the first time I ever met someone on the internet first before actually meeting them in person, so that's a weirdish milestone of my life.

You can tell how old some you twats are due to the fact that you have Aim icon things. What a dump of a chat program that was.

It's funny that I have any icon-things... The one that lasted the longest was MSN and it apparently got hacked and I had forgotten all of my password questions so I just dumped it about a year or year and a half ago. Maybe longer...

Now it's facebook or twitter. Wonder what we'll be looking at 10 years from now...
