Seriously, though: I'm not normally a big fan of these massive rides because they're normally just too over-the-top, but yours looks like a perfect blend between fantasy and realism. Keep up the good work! I'm definitely looking forward to riding this one.

Lol! If you're referring to the scare walk attraction, railings will definitely come in due time. The last thing I want is hypothetical patrons falling off into the ride's drop lol.

wow.. it does look better :)
you could probably fit a barrel roll in there at the end if you want ;)

As much as I wanted to have inversions I think keeping them out is the best decision for this ride as far as staying in the realm of realism. I Imagine a barrel roll would have to be extremely stretched out since a majority of the ride is taken at excess speeds of 90+Mph.

If you're interested, I could give you a few tricks to make your trees look a lot better, ie. get rid of the diagonal slicing and stop them looking too dark.

Ah definitely! I appreciate the help. I've been having issues with loading up the trees into anim8r so I wasn't able to fix the texture lighting for those objects.

Ok, firstly you need to make the trees out of four triangles which have a common side along the centre of the tree, like this:

You'll also need to add a transparent border around your tree textures to stop the corners getting cut off. It should enlarge the overall image size by a factor of root 2, and then of course resize it to a power of 2. Applying smooth shading makes the sides a similar colour.

And although anim8or can't display tga's, it can still change the settings of the lighting while leaving the texture the same. Just fix them the same way you would normally.
