I said that AHG does not make tracks smoother, I said if there are already pumps in the track then AHG will literally make the tracks pumpier.

Then, TOB replied:

omg....ok lets see....track not heartlined .....helixes are pumpy

track AHGed...pump free turn ....(95% of the time)

y do you think people use the AHG...not to make their track more pumpy....!!!!gaaaahhhh

to fix inversions and reduce G's....

Then I told him that AHG is used to bank tracks correctly and heartline the track around the train rather than the train around the track.

Then he replied:

omg.....u r not using the AH rite thennnn....friggin canadian

Seriously. Who is right here?

You are Calaway. Automatic HEARTLINE Generator, not Automatic Track Smoother.

I also told him that the AHG will make the tracks pumpier because any random change in forces will cause the AHG to make a shift in track banking.

The AHG does not make your track worse if it sucks already. That is an argument that many use to make it look like you need skill outside of AHG use to create a good track. While this is true, what really happens is the output track is essentially the same quality as the input, except heartlined and banked perfectly. So it's better, but retains it's flaws.

While that may be true, AHG amplifies them and makes them more obvious is what I really mean. If I said it any differently he wouldn't have understood.
