How can I make a barrel roll for the inverted coaste?
Always when I try that, it becomes just a twist.

yeah, sure it does. i've tried several readme's and at least 4 tutorials by now and i can't figure it out. i just went step by step on one of them and it sayed the train valleyed. what does that even mean? the train is going 80 mph at the start of the ride and 25 at the end, converted to metric, divided by 3.6, didnt work!

Then color everything black, AHG once with a heartline of 0. Make sure your segment number will give you 10-17 foot long segments in the editor. Use 100 for V in and out. Go back and bank everything by hand, then re-AHG with a nonzero heartline height (unless you want your final track to be unheartlined). Make sure to end up with 4-6 foot long segments in the editor.

That's the procedure I use. No fighting with speeds necessary.

that got it to actually heartline it, BUT now it has a massive bump half way down the hill. i have no idea where that came from (?)

Well, you either didn't colour that part black or it's just too rough to begin with. Remeber, AHG magnifies most bumps.

Is the drop near vertical? If so make that section white, then AHG.

When doing a loop, don't use any colours on it (except for any filter settings you want). Just make sure there is positive g's at the top and let the AHG do the work of banking it for you.

^I am still confused by that. What do you mean filter settings. When i try to AHG a loop it comes out looking like a roll over loop. Also how do you AHG something Vertical?

Nothing, just leave it blank for now. By filter settings he means coloring the rails different shades of red to adjust the filter.

I am so confused. Mabey its because I just color everything black. Do i just not color the loop. But if i don't where do I start not coloring?

You color everything black? If I'm correct, that pretty much locks most of the stuff into place, right?
1-Millennium Force | 2-Intimidator 305 | 3-Fury 325
4-Skyrush | 5-Iron Rattler | 6-X2 | 7-Kingda Ka

Don't color a loop black when past 90* (the top half of a loop).

Do color loops whenever required.
Don't color loops when not required.
Adjust speed input in case, or not.

Most important though:

Do believe everything you're told and live a happy life in contradiction!

This is what I'm trying to AHG.

This is what happens when I try to get all of my segments the same length. Then I send it through AHG with the Correct heartline value and everything goes Wack.

Are you using relative roll? I tend to get similar outputs when using relative roll. I don't think AHG handles it or recognizes it.

Heres what happened After all my segment division and everything with relative roll off.

You can't do beyond vertical sections with AHG.

And it appears as though you do not have enough speed through your inversions.

Also if you want to keep your banking (by coloring the track black) You may want to increase the number of segments on your input track. This happened to Barone in a similar case on one of his rides when he did not have nearly enough segments and the AHG seems to not have enough material to heartline off of.
