Yeah, I was wondering the same. A Corkscrew from Top looks a bit like a Z or N wheras an overbank looks like a C or U. Big difference.

If someone has found a nice and easy way to do an overbank, with the hsak I'm very interested in knowing how. I haven't found any good solutions yet.

^I've gotten HSAK to do a number of decent overbanks... as far as "easy" goes, I'm not so sure. It seems like the trick is to get the g-forces and curvature to lead naturally to an overbanked turn; that has worked 80% of the time for me, though I know it sounds a little vague.

Of course, it would matter if you're talking about high overbank, such as MF, or a lower one that simply turns riders sideways more than it actually turns... Here's a rather large one I did that was made by sending a HSAK element though AHG:

Kevin Hellion was one of my favorite woodies ever! I'm rating right now, but do tell, what was the deal with an overbank on a woodie...

Uh well, yeah that's pretty tough actually. Now that the FVDs exist I'd just try using them since the HSAK way isn't easy to any stretch of the imagination.

Ive had a problem with getting the shape right. That element is just a tilted turn right? I've managed those, but the more typical overbank shape, that kind of resemble a cutback is pretty hard to do with the hsak.

Yeah. I've asked a lot of people how they made their overbanks, and most used customized private formulas. But now as the FVD is out it should make it easier. I haven't really played around much with the FVD yet, but I will [:)]

What is the problem? If it is the segment thing, we did give you an answer. if you made it clearer what the problem is, we would help you more[;)]

For M/s just use the coaster calculator on the NLDC.

Well, it appears that you've coloured a rail. You need to colour the main track, which is the top box that says "main track colour".

I've got my own problem now...I'm trying to heartline my track so far, so i take the section i'm trying to heartline, save it as an element, make it into it's own track, colour code it properly, and save. I didn't include any brakes, lifts, transport segments or stations. I've tested it many times and it gets through the track fine. I get the speed in m/s, but no matter what, it says the train valleys. I even tried putting the input/output speeds up, but nope, still won't cooperate! Anybody know how to get this fixed?

make sure you have the heart line set to like 0.8 instead of .8 because without the 0 in front it is just read at 8 and then the valleying problem occurs. Hopefully that helps.

What exactly is the problem with your track, I directed my comment at Phanoity not you, but I'll still help if you need it.

On second look Phanoity, I think the problem with yours is that you have airtime on the one segment that is between the green one and the black one at the end. Try and make the green segment and that black and see what happens.

You do need to check the individual colors box whenever you heartline, and it looks like you need to make your loop tighter. You should never have to color code a loop.

Was that a wild guess or just normal spam? It's not true anyway.
