A little breather from NL2 but sill serious. Yes this topic is about that thing. That healthy lifestyle thing.

As a person who come from a family tree of back problems I am actually getting concerned about this situation in the future maybe. One side of my family has serious back issues ranging from my mother to my grandfather and his father and his mother etc... yeah I've looked it up. I have a strong back now but genes are genes.

How do you maintain healthy posture and such for as long as possible. My mom rode a inverted coaster with me just 5 years ago but wouldn't be able to do this or even stand in the queue line long enough today. In just 5 years it has deteriorated to the point of operations and such being performed on her to just ease the pain. Then only are they concerned about the resolution.

I do keep a healthy lifestyle at the moment. Was a bit overweight recently but dropped from 91 to 83 KG at only 1.73m tall. I'm currently more muscled than fat thank GOD. In my previous years I was way to skinny though. I was wondering if this thread can share some tips on maintaing a proper healthy lifestyle including gym times and food.

Other health issues and treatments are also welcome. Had a history of doing gigs at pretty loud venues which pretty much messed up my hearing. During meetings and so forth I sometimes struggle to hear mumbling participants and or foreign accents.

Please feel free to share your way of living a healthy lifestyle. :)

I do a lot of cardio. About 5 times a week for a period of no less then 20 minutes on top of at least an hour of other activity. Ranging from running, riding a bike, or hitting the elliptical. I also incorporate a full weight lifting routine [high reps mainly]. But if you just maintained a healthy active life style you should be fine. Another aspect of being healthy for me is diet. I cook my own food. I stay away from GMO's and processed crap. There's a lot I could get into and what I do is not necessary for the general public to have a relatively healthy lifestyle, but not eating out helps quite a bit. Cooking your own food goes quite a long ways. Stay away from that fast food.
