With only 31 days before the opening of Carowinds I would like some info from those who have actually ridin Stealth.

What I would like to know is what were the problems with it?
Every one keeps saying it would break down but no one would say why it broke down.

Carowinds sent both trains out and had them completely refurbished and also had the entire computer system replaced and updated so I am wondering if those 2 items were the problems. By the way both trains are back and are sitting on the track as testing is to begin in a couple days.

I know alot of people said it was rough but that does not matter to me as I hate silky smooth coasters.

Well, I have ridden X-Flight @ SFWoA, which is almost the exact same ride, and it was closed for about an hour because there was a problem with the restraints . If not, it was definitely a problem with the trains.

I don't think its rough, it just throws you around a bit, feels kinda like a woodie, but its a better ride than the B&M Flyers by far. Better than any B&M for that matter.

It may be Stealth under all that paint but I can not wait untill March 20th (opening day)!!!!!
I drive by Carowinds alot trying to see anything and you can see the lift from about 3 miles away. If you are going south on I-77 as I do. With the limited themeing they are doing for it they are still going to have the Borg Sphere in the turn right before you hit those corkscrews. They are also supposed to have water fountains around the ride but if not it will "fly" real close over water in a couple spots.
Testing has been going on for about a week now and all reports say all is good. Not sure what they did other than completly upgrade the computer system and the trains were sent out for some kind of refurbishing. Refurbishing may not be the right word but something was done to the trains.
