Wildfire - Any person on this site as long as i have has herd me rant about how good this ride is.
TTD - I was expecting a bunch of g's but didn't get them.
MF - Same as above
Mean streak - Overall suck
Mr.Freeze - Was expecting insanely rough and boring ride. Got One of the most memerable of my life.
Powder keg - I hate this ride. Expected a nice family ride like advertised insted i got a raide which made wildfire look like a sissy.

I agree. I liked The Legend the most too.

I rode Maverick three or four times betwen 07 and 08, and thought it was pretty cool but not anything TOO special. Then my friend made me me ride it in the back seat, and I wasn't expecting much, but it was one of the best rides all day! You get so much air over the first hill and it's paced so well after that, I don't think i can judge an entire ride based on it's back seat ride, but I like the ride so much better now.

Cornball Express and Iron Wolf. Cornball is rather small but is packed with airtime on every hill. Iron Wolf has a bad reputation for roughness but I thought it was relatively smooth and the pacing was amazing.

My surprise wasnt good. When I went to Busch Gardens and rode Kumba I expected an amazing smooth BM cause I love the other rides in the park and thats what everyone makes it out to be but I realized when I rode it that it was rough and unsmooth. In my opinion it is the worst ride in the park along with Gwazi and Scorpion.[:)][:)][:p][:p]

When I went to Thorpe Park I didnt expect much of Saw: The Ride. What I heard was it was to short and pointless. I do have to admit it was short, but it had to be my best ride of the day.

Speaking of Euro-Fighters, I got a Kick out of the Spongebob Rock Bottom Plunge at the Mall of America... Didn't expect that much from it.

TTD really surprised me. People say ohhhhh only 17 seconds so what. But it's so fast. It launches with such force. I was so impressed and would ride it over and over.

Tennessee Tornado: I was expecting the usual trademark Arrow roughness, but this was just purely amazing!
Oh, were you expecting something here?

As I'm sure somebody is going to disagree with me, but Colossus at SFMM. Ya sure the turns are slower than a feather falling to the ground, BUT, you have to admit that the drops on that thing are just killer. Mainly because you don't expect it, but either way they are just pure sex. I like it rough, and that ride is rough and aggressive on the drops...Sooooooo...Colossus is my pick for this topic.
Sometimes you gotta sacrifice a little bit of yourself to get the job done.

I had extremely high expectations for Maverick, and it still managed to crush them my first time.

Corkscrew at Mich Adv also surprised me because it was fairly smooth and had a nifty little pop of airtime on the drop.

Oh and Viper (SFMM) surprised me too. Canyon Blaster at the Adventure Dome got me dizzy, but I thought it was just for those corkscrew rides. I haven't been on that in years, so I thought Viper would be different. I got dizzy on that one too, and I'm not riding arrow rides until the end of th day for now on [lol]

Lost Coaster of Superstition Mountain.

I dont care who you are. How can it not top your list of "most suprising?" Theres nothing else like it, ever! And its just wrong on all counts. Back seat sitting reverse is just...wrong. Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong!

Wild One after they did track work on it a few years ago. It was alright before, but after it was great. Volcano also surprised me. I had no idea it was such a rush the first time I rode it.

Yeah that ride is so screwed in an awesome way. The track is messed up, the trains are messed up, and there is a talking skeleton who likes nachos and a Mardi Gras bear. Wtf? [lol]

The Boomerang, one of the famous Vekoma Boomerangs, it is more intense than its looks.

Tony Hawks Big Spin. Oh my god... the first drop is exhilarating. even though it's really small, when you're spinning and going down, you're like, Holy crap!

Nemesis on the back.. id been on the front many times and always an amazing ride but on the back! OMG For a ride thats picking up speed till3/4 the way,its forceful! the feeling i got was that the worlds gravity had sudenly doubled to the point a black hole was at the bottom of the pit!!...best for me was being thrown over the top and down towards the blood on the vertical loop only seconds away from bieng thown into the final wingover!! Just wow!
