after the olt site died and i got very busy in school i pretty much let it die, but i figured i'd pick up.

Dear people,
[general, most of you will already have heard this over the phone - if not, read on => me and projects described]
My name is Maarten Alleman, currently 15 years old, in grammar school (if i translated that correctly), and computer & amusement ride obsessed.
Having seen many amusement parks but being chicken for most of my life, my real obsession started after conquering my fear of heights, and my fear of being toppled over riding a multi-ton steel structure. Nowadays it can't be extreme enough for me not to ride it. I have hopes for going to Germany and the US to ride the world's greatest coasters time and time again. At this stage, liking design, engineering, being plain crazy (I torched my leg a few days ago in a stupid stunt which I will never do again.... for this month... don't ask), programming and so on, one of my possible job ideas is to start designing rides. Preferrably for multiple companies at the same time.
As I said I am also computer obsessed, and was practically born with one. Gamer that I am, at some point I got bored/disappointed with the day's games and got the idea of making them myself, believing I could be the best. First starting with DIV I started to learn and progress, the next step immediately being C++. Now I finally understand most of it, or at least enough to look up the parts I do not get. Combining those "talents" or ideas, I ended up with the idea for the DigiCoaster project. Having seen Scream Machines, Rollercoaster Tycoon, and NoLimits (which i'm shure most of you know, and I consider to be the best simulator -so far), which are great but lacking, I decided I could do better.
[You can wake up again at this time ]
I felt that the best way to build/simulate rides & parks, was to co?????????perate with the manufacturers, design firms and parks themselves, all the while listening to the public for new ideas. That way existing ride systems could be modelled to micrometer accuracy so to speak - provided the parks & manufacturers would send me detailed technical designs & statistics and videos for comparison - something they tend not to do... EVER... - but which would provide THE fastest, cheapest, easiest, most entertaining and most realistic way of simulating rides for the general public.
Because I intend to co?????????perate with everyone from e.g. Cedar Point to Intamin to the people at Stengel, this would mean the biggest list of ride types one can build in a game I've seen. This, combined with my commitment to (physical) accuracy & reality (meaning graphical and aural) should result in a platform both appealing to the general public, as well as the companies themselves (which in my eyes get a free version, and which can request updates themselves, and will probably have a bigger set of possibilities in the software as well that normally only professionals would use... but i might just as well leave those in for the general public, so the "professional amateurs" and the like can have limitless freedom as well. )
I already have some ideas for the game that will put it above most if not all of the current simulators. To summarize the most important ones:
Detailed ride representations through co?????????peration with owners, designers and manufacturers
Programmable ride control system - including on and off track effects
Pre-render option to render in high detail and accuracy movies of rides for for example presentation work
Modular design for easy extending, updating and adding new rides etc.
(at least for content developers and professionals) Complete set of utilities for easier or more complicated work - or for creating your own game content
Also there is Nova Park - my dream to create my own amusement park, taking all the good stuff from all the parks i know, hoping to be better. That and some of the above is all there currently is to say about it, but I hope to finish this as well.
[My request to you]
What I would like to ask you, is if you haven't done so yet or in the past (S&S I already got your brochures - man you were fast... Intamin I still didn't get the new materials), if you can send me some brochures, and preferrably video's too.
For the rest it would be great if you could...
(re)Consider co?????????peration to improve product quality - but this does mean I would need detailed technical information (which I will keep secret unless allowed to do otherwise by all relevant parties - and other conditions may be set, if you feel it is needed)
Tell me what I would need to do in order to be allowed to use official company names, brands, logo's etc. (licency??)
(After it is finished - or at least temporarily finished - you will get a reminder) go to my website which will be at http://www.plasmasoft.fusionxhost.com - you can already find two OpenGL demos on there... if you could please test those and tell me if and how they run that would be nice - and when the temporary website is fixed i would like it if you (or for all I care multiple persons per company) could register on the forums, where I will then also give you access to the staff forums to discuss secret matters like new stuff in development etc.
(you decide) pre-alert some of your customers to see if they would be interested in co?????????perating too. (feel free to forward this info)
[Fun Facts From The Past]
in my past, in an amusement-park-impulse, i have...
been to Intamin as a 13-year old or 14-year old... which was very cool... Thanks guys!
Managed to find a bank immediately that didn't hang up after telling them my age, plans and asking if it is possible to loan 500 000 000 euros.
I hope we can agree now or in the future (in case of trouble which I do not hope to see) to co?????????perate on both projects, and bring them both to a good end.
Best of luck to all of you, and kind regards,
Maarten Alleman

WHAT I WANT FROM YOU NOW
i want you to go to the site: http://www.plasmasoft.fusionxhost.com
i want you to find the OpenGL Demos page, and try both demo's, and post here how they run.
I know they are crap, but i want to have a first general indication of everyone's performance.
If you could post your system specs as well, that 'd be great.
greets,
-DC/I (Intamin from wws.com)

Please, you would be of great help if you'd do the above. The rest will come in the future. (after i finish a reasonable site i will move this over there anyway)
