Haha, I love the reactions to learning what the title of Czar actually means in the US. These people really have no idea why they're so angry about this stuff.

What the hell are these people so scared about? They act like the whole country is going to fall apart. Because, oh yes, Canada and England are such communist countries because they have public health care.

Interesting fact:
Because of the ridiculous amount of paperwork that hospitals have to do as a result of dealing with the thousands of different American insurers, the money that would be saved in eliminating insurance paperwork and beaurocracy alone ($330 billion) if the government went to a single-payer system would be enough to pay for the whole damned thing.

This is one case where I am really mad at Obama for not having the balls to stand up to the lobbyists and the sickly deformed health insurance industry. It's slipping farther and farther away thanks to the brainwashing Palin "death panel" bulls***, and he's just letting it happen rather than setting the record straight.

Has anyone realized that America is the only major country without a uniform health care system?

Exactly. You know, we have a government called a "democracy". Don't blame government officials because you didn't do jack $hit about anything. Quit bitching and do something about it. People are so stupid these days.

I really didn't care too much about the election. To me, it doesn't matter if they are republican or demorcrat, just do the damn job.And if people feel they are not getting enough money from their job, then perhaps it's time for a new career.

And the thing about healthcare, alont of Americans need to change their eating habits if they want to change their lives and if they want to live longer.Could you imagine if every man, woman and child would exercise for about and hour or more a day??? Emergency rooms would look like any empty 24 hour store at 3am in the morning!!!

Yea. And for emergencies, You still get the care you need (some of the best in the world) without insurance. Theres 2 specific acts (COBRA and another one I cant remember) that basically prevent a hospital from rendering care to save and stablize a patient because of their lack of insurance. Its LAW. They cant do it.

DO they realize that BUSH spent approximentaly 1.2 Trillion? on the war alone?

Thats not a accurate figure, THough I have seen in several sources the average bill of the war is 200 billion a year.

Ok....so Americans, we usually see news about the way other goverments are doing, and see the protests against other county's governments, but do other countries watch us?? I bet they laugh like crazy when they see us on T.V.......this is why I'm afraid to travel and tell others I was born in America. I usually just mention that I'm Cuban. I think that makes me safe.

To tell you the truth, I kinda seen life improving here where I live. A lot of money was just spent on our Police and Fire-departments so it's been a lot safer here....despite the accidentals, and the school cuts...and the fire that f**ked everything up....but besides that I think it's still all good. But maybe I have a blind eye to what's really going on.

What was this "tea party" exactly?? Was it just to protest the health-care plan?? Also, don't you just love it how abortion always shows up in every protest....*sigh*...God Bless America....I guess

^ Not to be rude, but you're pretty much right to feel like that. Most places across Europe seem to like Americans least out of all other nationalities. Whenever i have been travelling, locals often take an interest in you when they find out you're from England. But whenever i've seen an American introduce themselves in similar places, they are treated very differently. The problem is, its stupid ignorant people like in this video that give Americans a bad name accross the rest of the world. Why the hell would you go and protest about an issue you know nothing about? That is completely crazy. Its also the extremities they take religion too, yet they get angry at other countries for expressing their religious beliefs to extremes? I find it hard to imagine people like that actually exist.

in the late 1700s, just before our revolution, in response to an opportunistic and predatory tax on tea by the British government a group of men disguised as native americans stole aboard ships berthed in boston harbor and dumped tons of tea into the water .. these "tea parties" are supposed to represent "no taxation without representation " unfortunately the robot like "redneck" people seen in these videos don't do well to reflect that, and there seem to be few other types in them . but in spirit that is what it is supposed to be. by the way .. i'm sure you can move to cuba any time you want .. have fun ..

Probably why the sons of liberty worked so well, they knew what they were doing and knew all about the situation. These f**ked up rednecks they get on TV, well, if it isn't what they want then they don't like it and hate it.

So pretty much, Democrats and Republicans. Whose f**king Idea was it to make 2 different parties? Why the hell can't somebody just be held accountable for THEIR beliefs instead of the Stated beliefs of some f**king group of ass's or elephants!

George Washington always hoped that there would be no political parties. He would be rolling in his grave if he knew what they turned this country into.

Some of these protesters have no idea what they're talking about. Quote from the video: "I oppose this heathcare bill." Can you tell me about it? "Not really."

I was laughing during the entire conversation about Czars "You do know that Czars have no executive power, right?" "I've don't heard anything about that, I just knew there was Czars"

Also not to be rude, but Christianity doesn't have verses that say to kill non-believers and members of other religions unless they convert like Islam does. (If you don't believe me, read Surah 9:5.)

With the radical Christians, it's just a problem of those who are mis-interpreting the Bible and completely missing verses like "if possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men," "love your neighbor as yourself," and "let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven." (Romans 12:18, Matthew 22:39, Matthew 5:16). But with Islam, the radicals are basically doing exactly what their book says.

So now I ask, is it not right to condemn a religion that supports the murder of those who don't agree with them? And is it right to condemn a religion for its ignorance and judgment when the ones who are causing the ruckus about it aren't even following what their book says?

But Islam is exactly the same in that respect as christianity. This is my point. The majority of people following Islam are not extreme at all, they are not plotting murder and genocide constantly. They too, just like christians, are given a bad name, because of a minority taking the religion to extremes. And in answer to you quoting Surah 9:5

http://www.muslimaccess.com/articles/ji ... fidels.asp

A muslim website explaining how they think the Quran has been twisted in that verse. It too, like the bible, can be twisted depending on how literally you take it.

I understand that in the name of Islam there have been been some terrible acts of terrorism. America particularly have a right to be angry at this. But throughout history, there have been terrible acts committed by all religions, so to have the view that the whole of Islam is bad, which alot of people in America seem to believe, is just ignorant.
