The exorcism of Emily Rose

Okay ive been wanting to see this film ever since i heard it was coming out. Im finally 15 and can go to the cinema knowing i will get into the film, rather than trying to pass older than i am and get in to the better films. Now i like horror films, and i havent seen one in ages that is actually good. I was really hoping that this would make me scared, and that it would actually convince me that the exorcist is scary, as no offence to the others, but they are just halarious now a days. [V][:p]

Anyway me and my mates went to the cinema to see this film. Its only been showing a few days, so no one i knew had seen it. TBH it was kind of disappointing. Has anyone else seen it? Does anyone agree? meh anyway, its a true story which is kind of freaky, but that also lkind of held it back as they couldnt go crazy with the storyline. But if anyone is thinking of going to see it, its alright. A few of the girls we went with were scared [;)] But, others were just laughing. It was funny when these 2 girls a few rows in front went crazy when one guys eyes exploded with black gunk.

Its nice (well not really considering the subject but you know what i mean) to go see it though as it has the ONLY sensible guy in a horrow film. A demonic force comes into his house at 3:00am and he sees it, and yes, HE RUNS OUT THE HOUSE [:D][:D][:D] I screamed ith joy at the fact that there was finally a non stupid horror character. [:)]

Anyway, its an alright, provides am alright scare for some, but nothing too nasty. [:p] I just liked the bit where she spoke 2 sentences at once and it sounded doody. [:p]

Anyway, anyone else seen this film? What did you think? We thought it was okay, but nothing to great.

I saw it -- and it was ok man. It is based on a true story so who knows how much of it is Hollywood'd up, but you can do a search for her on google.com and find out about a ton of stuff (like the real story, hear the actual tape, etc.).

15, its 17 here as the age limit lol

Really??? We came out thinking its right as a 15. For people under 15 like 12 year olds, it could be quite weird and scary, and the subject of exorcism isnt really suitable for anyone under 13. But if it was higher than a 15, that would actually be ridiculous IMO. It had no really shocking parts that make it so it should have a higher rating. It was just weird.

I didn't know what to say at the end of that movie, it was really creepy and the whole movie just sort of ran right through the story line without details. It was almost rushed, but they made their point very clear lol. I still think its wierd they used the accuall tapes from the real trial in the movie.
