I found myself watching in full screen and pausing every few seconds just to preview the new features.

Is there still the global setting on the wood magic auto support tool? Being able to place just the catwalks and the handrallings? I assuming I will probably still use wooden catwalks for the jet coasters of mine in NL2 unless I can use the auto 3ds catwalks that come with NL2. I'm not sure if they are basic enough for a jet coaster.

The new terraforming and texturing is enough to make me want this.

I guess its official timberliners are the 5th wood train. They dont seem to be too succesful in real life but they look great in NL2
What are these for?

And here I was thinking that I might not even bother getting it because it's been so long since I've really been into building... but wow, that editor video sure looked tantilizing... especially the new terrain creator and the gorgeous-looking wooden supports. I might change my mind after all...

(plus have I heard correctly that there's going to be Arrow suspended coasters? That's going to be fun if it's true!)

I'm just hoping they'll hit the target release before the year is finished. Only 15 days remaining.

I saw that too! I think it is small lights seeing as we've seen pics of lights on handrails of their other rides such as Kumba:
