I like Kyle's pictures, and I'll be trying to create a similar feel in any sunny environments I make.

Hey Phyter, will Intamin rides have updated LSM launch fins? For rides like iSpeed, Maverick, etc.?

CK Im not trying to whitewash it, the sky and the environment surrounding could have been left alone if I was better at photoediting. I am exaggerating what needs to be changed a bit though to emphasize my point.

It annoys me that they spent so long implimenting all these graphical effects and lighting things but didn't make little tweaks to have it look photorealistic. All that is needed are darker shadows and brighter sunlight.

There's not always going to be a heavenly glow on your rides, Kyle.

I literally just died a bit inside when I saw that video, that's all I wanted to see for so long!

Edit: Phyter, say that we hit the button to make the harnesses or floors go down, can we make them go up again before dispatch or once they are down, they have to stay down until after dispatch?

Thanks!

I don't necessarily think it needs to look photorealistic. I currently like the way the lighting engine looks. Also, who says that they won't implement those lighting tweaks in the future to give a more "photo-realistic" look? As of now, I think it looks perfect for enthusiasts, but even better, I really see this as something real parks and coaster companies latch onto in order to create their videos.

I just have to use the B&M coaster style for my jet coaster and switch out the horn WAV sound for a stock telephone beeping call.

I also got a response from the Dev team on the facebook page regarding stations and custom 3DS....You can hide the whole station and the animate platforms still remain, you can also choose to only hide the roof and keep the gates to retain the animation. Epic. [:D]

Here are some of the things I've noticed about the new NL-2 wood coasters:

There are 8 layers of wood in the track now instead of 7. Most real wood coasters now have at least 8 layers.
In NL-2 you can see the individual boards in the track, or see the joint between the boards.
In NL-2 you can see the nails holding the top board on the track.
In NL-2 you can see that the top or road steel is sticking up above the wood.
In NL-2 you can see the side friction bolts on the side of the track, hold the side friction steel on.
In NL-2 you can see the bolt heads on the top steel holding the top steel down.
In NL-2 you can see where the road wheels of the train have been making marks on the top steel.
In NL-2 you can see the steel safety cable between the bent posts just below the handrail.
In NL-2 you can see real 4x12 track ledgers holding up the track.
In NL-2 you can see real 2x6 X bracing in the structure.
And finally something that has always bugged me about NL-1 is the way the walkboard wrapped around the 4x6 bent posts. NL-2 corrected that.
All these changes make the wooden coaster look more realistic.
Edit: Oops. Did I see a return chain trough inside the lift hill?!! And I wonder if there will be a motor house. Oh well, if there isn't I can always make one. Or maybe they can give us one in an update.

Will I be able to launch the B&M dive machine coaster to 2 million MPH in a split second? Will there be a new power tweaker that will not get the stupid "mismatch error" when I have too much huge numbers in the power tweaker? Or a new construction kit?

Sorry if this seems like a stupid question, but will there be B&M wing-riders?

I thought i have read that you can run trains backwards so maybe you can run the 4th dimension train backwards as a stand-in wing rider :o

3 days counting. I think I may have plans on new skybox projects and maybe new tracks projects as I did for SM. Sadly no word about for SM2 (gone belly up) so I'm sticking with NL2 and keeping my eyes pealed. This is going to be rather a crowded one I think. Theme park studio also but for right now I am for NL2. Thank god they are finally getting this over with.[:D][:D]
