^^^ You do realize they have some form of permission to make those models? They cant just craft a near perfect replica of a design without permission to use it on a game. Also yes it has been 8 years but those 8 years are also spent on full time jobs, family, sickness, etc.

On topic at minimum settings this seems the demo seems to be running at a satisfactory rate.
What are these for?

Maybe I'm getting a bit impatient/paranoid here but I still have yet to receive the download link and am a bit concerned. I think I should have waited til this morning to buy as I could have possibly dodged this issue.

Got the demo to actually run on my computer with the bare minimum specs, which is a feat I consider impressive. I have a Thinkpad Edge 14, and if I recall it correctly it's an i3 with an integrated graphics card. If any computer shouldn't run the game correctly, it's this one.

FPS crashes abysmally when all of the track is in view. As a result the wooden ride ran the best and the hyper ran the worst. I'm impressed the game even opened on my computer and I was expecting 1FPS with a fatal error within 10 seconds.

In the sections that ran smoothly for me (the dive machine ran great until the rollover after the drop, same goes for the hyper), I am very impressed with the look and feel of the game. Everything looks so nice on even the bottom of the barrel specs (on a machine that has no business attempting to run the game) and everything is so nice and smooth.

I'll definitely shell out the cash for this game once I'm able to afford a new computer

Jakizle what kind of a graphics card do you have? If you only have an integrated Intel one it could be the problem.

Not to be impatient, but can anyone with the EXE fully downloaded, upload it somewhere else on another file hosting service and give us the link? The download speeds are painful.

That would be awesome! Can someone please mirror the full exe? Ofcrouse without your serial[8D]

*slaps you in the face*

If you've been around since the start you know there has been released a sh*tload of types since the very first release. NL 1.1 contained only a handful of steel coaster types. That was it!

You call 8 years time to build more than 4 models? Just under 7,5 years ago we received NL 1.6 that contained a whole update on all existing types, and it added a bunch of new coastertypes. Since that update you've received the X-cars, Vekoma Minetrain models and another spinning coaster for free.

NL2 has compared to NL1 again a bunch of new coaster types like the 4d coaster, arrow suspended, timberliners, mack launched, Dive machines, etc. And let's not forget they redesigned the entire program just to make it up to date to our normal computer graphic standards.

Oh and I hope you know that NL isn't made by those huge companies. This all started off as a hobby project from some people. They have normal daily lives. If you can work a fulltime job and still have plenty of time to start a rollercoaster simulation from scratch. Be my guest and begin right now. We'll hear from you in about 2-3 years when you finally have something(decent) to show.
Coastercount: 1410 (I've seen the world and it's horrid contraptions... @.@)
- Wood: 142
- Steel: 1268

Editor is growing on me. Hand building is absolutely BACK. That new Kumba that rides so well? 100% handbuilt as far as I can tell...the zero g roll is only like 5 control points. Heartline as spline path is a gamechanger for hand building.

Were you all under a rock when pretty much every other game release has issues the first couple days or what?

The demo is a demo, it doesn't give you everything.
Tracks included.

You can make your own parks/tracks in the demo (and share with us)! I have'nt figured the new editor out yet, everything is completely different.

Downloaded the demo.

This is my laptop:

Processor (CPU) Intel????????? Core?????????i7 Quad Core Mobile Processor i7-3740QM (2.70GHz) 6MB
Memory (RAM) 16GB SAMSUNG 1333MHz SODIMM DDR3 MEMORY (2 x 8GB)
Graphics Card NVIDIA????????? GeForce????????? GT 645M - 1GB DDR3 Video RAM - DirectX????????? 11

The game runs on absolute minimum settings, and anything higher is totally unusable. Anyone any ideas? Could it just be with the demo, or will it make no difference on the full install?
