Hi, it's been just over a year since my last rollercoaster. So I'm a bit rusty with NL, which is why I decided to make a smaller, more family oriented ride. It has only one inversion, a Zero-G Roll, which inspired the name. I put up pics on the NLDC page, so any comments and criticism are greatly appreciated. I will try to make some 3ds for the ride, but they would most likely be basic.
Thanks again for any comments.

I used AHG to smooth it out, it was pretty much trial and error for this ride. It was a nightmare, repeating the process-tweaking each time- until it came out like that.

^ i know exactly how you feel........ i hate that whole "trial and error" process. looks extremely smooth, and looks fun also. I really like the idea for the station drop out. If you are going to 3D the ride, that should tunneled to scare ppl, just like Mystery Mine, you feel me? great work
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

Thanks, I will try to make the 3ds, but I wouldn't bet on anything good. But thanks for the comment, I appreciate it.

Doesn't anyone else have a comment? Anyone at all?

Automatic Heartline Generator.
Its not mainly used to smooth out a track, but if done right it can in a way.
Here's the official forum topic about the AHG:

For some reason everyone seems to love that bit, I'm not looking for testers right now, but I will keep that in mind, thanks.
I've got a problem with the 3ds. I use Sketchup, and while I was testing out the size of the station, the edges are messed up, and they look weird, and the shadowing on the object itself looks wrong, making it look very, very dark. So the color I picked wont show, does anyone know a way to get around this?
Here's a pic of the edges: http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j180/ ... 336000.jpg

There's 3 different ways that you can fix your problem:

#1) Sketchup sucks at importing objects into the 3D format.
If you want you can send the sketchup files to me and I have another 3D program to export them from.

#2) To remove those black lines, open up your object in sketchup, and wherever those lines are appearing right clikc on the line in sketchup and select the option hide. It will remove the lines.

#3) There could be 2 problems here. The first senario is that you are coloring the blue and white sides with a texture in Sketchup. Only the white side can be colored. Idk why, its Skechups thing. The second scenario is that you dont have the object's textures in the same folder as the object. Just find the texture and move it to wherever you keep your objects. I usually just copy all of the sketchup objects into the folder so i dont have to do it more than once.

Ok, hope that helps :)

I've fixed the Sketchup problem, and I've finished the support work, latest images can be found here:

Any more comments and feedback will be greatly appreciated.
The Station 3ds still needs work, but this is just a very basic version right now.

GAH!!!!!!! how do you use sketchup!?!?! so annoying and I want to make a damn station!!! lol, also, as with everybody, I really like that pre launch. does it just go straight into the launch or does it come to a stop and then launch? also, love the supports.
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

Oh sketchup was a total nightmare, I made the station, then when i imported it, the faces were all reversed. So I had to start all over again, and I had to draw each line by hand, then export it into Anim8or, to clean up the textures so they show up. Then export it again into NL. It's not something I'd like to repeat. I spent over 10 hours on the first station, really, and turns out it was all a complete waste :(.
Oh and yes the pre-launch takes you into a small break section and stop for a few seconds before launching.

This looks like quite a fun track...
I don't think the train should be stopped before the launch, X-cars don't do that...

Also, I don't like that straight piece of track under the roll...

Pretty big update now, I've worked a bit more on the station, and the terrain-which I won't show until the final release. I've also used some stuff from the ParkPack.

Images from there onwards are the latest.
Comments and feedback are still needed! Thanks!
