I've told this story before, but it works for this thread
I went in line for Kingda Ka a few months back and the line was up to the entrance. The ride kept breaking down so I was in line for 2 and a half hours by the time I got to the station (the ride broke down every time the "money train" launched, so that was the problem. Every time the ride was fixed the crowd would go crazy. I counted 14 breakdowns in total, which is ridiculous. Eventually they put the train away in the left station and ran 2). Once we got into the station, the ride continued to break down periodically so they put the money train away. Then, like 50 people just walked up to the exit, handed the op the blue handicap pamphlet thingy, and just hopped on to the train, which the rest of us waited around 3 hours for at that point. It was so ridiculous that every other train was reserved just for them, so it was basically 1 train ops for an enormous line. Every time the "handicapped people" boarded, the entire station erupted with boo's. They had been waiting hours in line and bs like this got them easily agitated. Then there was a situation where someone linecut and the witness tried to get 3 other witnesses to sign the form for the guard but couldn't, so they didn't do anything about it. I remember that the "handicapped people" tried to board 2 trains in a row and when the ride ops kicked them off the everyone in the station was cheering like crazy. After 5 hours of waiting, I finally got my ride on Kingda Ka, and it was definitely the sweetest one.
