this is also an interesting fact...when you look at the red and blue states versus the CFP National Generosity Index, which ranks each state based on how rich the average citizen is and how much the averge citizen gives to charity/orginizations. In other words, which state is most generous with their money. When you look at this data the top 25 on this list all went for Bush, while the bottom 10 all went for Kerry with one eception: Colorado.

My point is this: it seems as though liberals want you to believe they give money away to the poor and are working for the average man, but they have a tendency to want others to be the ones who donate the actual money. Now, there's nothing wrong with being thrifty, but to be such a socialist and still want to hang onto your money is simply self-contradictory. very interesting connection...

Still trying to bring up facts that matter to no one, eh coaster? Geesh, you are petty.

Although, you might wanna reconsider your views of "intelligence" when it comes to your moronic and idiologic generalizations (look those big words up if you need too). I am in Alabama.

My advice? Shut your mouth and stop trying to be a pest ... you are not helping your reputation.

erm... i brought it up b/c it's funny... it's not going to change anything so there's no point in trying to change anything. and just because it doesnt matter to you doesnt mean it doesnt matter to anyone. and who cares if your in alabama? that has nothing to do with anything lol. ya know, you should stop posting, TConwell. all you ever say is always negative. at least i have a humorous side. if anything YOU should stop being a pest. if you dont like something in a forum, then DO NOT READ IT. that's why all the other subjects are here. if you don't like me, then don't bother with me. you're incredibly immature or desperate for points if you feel the need to continue posting in topics that you don't like. be nice or shut up.

and btw, i'm gay. i don't give a crap about reputations.

I find it funny that tons of his cabinet members and some CIA officials have resigned / quit right after the election. It should say something about the morale of these people when working with Bush. They perhaps were looking to get voted out in the election and since that failed, this is their way to get out.

Coaster ... No, you are bringing up the election again, and your man lost, so let it go bud. Immature? Again we have to listen to your gay announcement? I need to ask according to your logic ... Is there something about being gay that means you should have "no reputation" and should be considered automatically stupid or something? This must be something new in your community. But if that is true, I have some gay friends who would probably like to educate you on your thought process. As far as immaturity ... who feels the need to announce that he is gay over and over? Are you trying to convince us, or yourself? Of course, we have already had to listen to your announcement of being gay like 10 times, so shut up with it already.

OK, WWS ... sorry man, but it is time to educate. Working in the White House is an opportunity, NOT a career. Most folks go about 3-4 years of being beaten thoroughly and then have to get out or die of stress. Someone like Madeline Albright, for example, lasted so long becuase she NEVER had to do anything cause Clinton did NOTHING to cause her to work. Powell on the other hand, actually had a job and had to take fire from the entire world. Resigning was not a surprise, but a necessity. This same principle comes for folks like Tom Ridge, who have been slapped all over the place and need to go back to their regular life. Them leaving says nothing about their's or Bush's morals, only that they have had enough crap from uneducated people in the world whom they have had to defend themselves against ... not to mention they have had enough stress in their life and it is time for them to write a book and relax for a while -- to them I say thank you for your service, and enjoy the rest of your life.

good god, now your even yelling at wws?! lol.. get a life [;)]

.... and that would be me saying i'm gay for time number 3 [;)] and by me being gay and not caring about reputations: in this world, being called gay is one of the most common insults. it's always looked at negatively, and to come out and say "i'm gay" really takes a lot of courage, so you can't be caring about reputations if your going to tell people your gay considering that telling people REALLY kills your reputation... no matter what it was beforehand. so, i've just learned not to care about reputations and that kind of thing. if you don't like me, then simply stop reading my posts and replying to them [;)]

... and i didnt bring up the election. i showed a statistic from the election to poke fun at bush. this is apparently not a concept your familiar with. you see, here in the usa, we like to make fun of the idiots in office. yes the election is over, but who cares?! it's still fun to laugh at bush.

I also agree with wws. on a couple news stations, they were saying that the morale of the cia (and it's reputation) have been going down the toilet since bush got in. so no, it's not just because they're tired of working there, they're leaving because... well... our intelligence just isnt that intelligent (remember iraq?)

No one yelled at WWS, coaster, I merely stated the other side of the coin, which apparently, much like Dan Rather's day to day practices, is something that is not taken to with much favor in this country.

And, asking me if I remember Iraq ... eye roll ... do you mean do I remember it from when I was there taking incoming fire in 1991 and ducking for cover ... or what? Dude, of course I remember Iraq, and yeah our intel this time was bad and I think everyone admits that (at least secretly) ... of course the leader of the CIA was the same one that Clinton had appointed, but we would hate to mention that and possibly tarnish his reputation, since it is so solid. <groan>

Either way I do not have an issue with you, I am merely trying to carry on the conversation man ... but it seems (to me anyway) that when you hear a different opinion or the other side of an issue you take it to be really offensive.

For the last time ... as far as you being gay, as long as you are not hitting on me (go ahead and laugh now) I think it AWESOME man, I'm proud of your courage - I really am!!! But, continuing to say it to those who already know (like all of us here) is the same as me telling you I am straight over and over ... I mean, who cares? We get it ... ok? No need to keep mentioning it bud. ;-) (Maybe that explains it a bit better????)

dangit, I thought we dropped this debate. Holy crap!!! That thing means nothing! Most of Orange County of CA voted for Bush, and a lot of people in OC are freaking rich, does that mean they're stupid? I don't see how hard working people are stupid! It's just some stupid picture that doesn't exactly mean anything at all.
