I have noticed a member here who shall remain nameless who in their bio has the occupation: "Kill George W. Bush" . I have sent them a PM of course, but wanted to provide some insight about this being a felony and punishable under Federal Law (18 USC ????????? 871).

Here is the link so anyone can read about this themselves, but as an active duty member I cannot allow (whatever your political views may be of the POTUS) anyone to threaten, joke, or make a pun about killing the President of the United States. Get mad at me all you want I really do not care, but I thought the "kids" here ought to know that it is a crime to even "joke" about it.

Correct.

Always remember, IP addresses are VERY easy to trace, especially with a court order from the Secret Service as they stand in the Slapster's house while he gets your info for them.

Just something to be aware of.

Whoever it is isn't going to be arrested. God, lighten up a bit!

Hell, check my "Latest News" section under my profile. I want to be arrested! I can't wait until the FBI arrives at my door.

Umm, Tconwell is quite correct in that the secret service has a congressional mandate to check into any and all threats to the presidency. While they probably don't watch this site, if someone where to alert them, they would investigate the issue. If you don't beliive that Intaminfan397, then maybe you should send them a link to your latest news addition and see if your theory stands true. And before you fire off one of your many negative PM's or posts about me, look at the links Tconwell posted and you will realize how serious the issue really is. In all actuallity, Tconwell was doing the member a favor by allerting him or her to the offense.

Tis true. The secret service doesn't have much of a sense of humor about these sorts of things.

This is a serious matter, don't underestimate the government. Honestly, grow up. Sometimes I wish this site had an minimum age to join.

Huh? Are you accusing me of something?

I have never sent any negative PMs to you or posted anything negative about you in the forums.

Thats about a much bigger issue than this. A school yearbook! Not a little entry in someone's profile for a freaking website.

Minimum age? Um, I'm older than you are FYI. Don't be so uptight, you must not have much fun in your life.

"I wish this site had an minimum age to join."

that is the main reason i joined like a month or so ago. ive been on CS all the time cause they got the age thing, so you dont have all of these 11 year olds running around.

IF397, the yearbook thing IMHO wasn't really all that serious of a thing, all things considered. It sounded more or less like a typical high school prank along the lines of "most likely to get knocked up", or "most likely to get busted for drugs". My point of posting the link is to show just how serious they take this sort of thing.

Oh well. If you feel comfortable having something like that on your profile page, then so be it. I personally can't stand Bush either, but would never post something like that. I think we all pretty much know that you are not serious...I just hope that anybody not familiar with you or this site will feel the same way about it.

[lol] I wasn't the person who began the "kill the president" thing and this whole topic has became about my profile now...

I agree that it isn't a big deal. I'm just saying this situation isn't even as serious as that, even though both really aren't serious at all.

If anyone wants to report me go ahead and do so. Obviously people who have such a big problem with this don't have much of a sense of humor. Even though it isn't too funny anyways. How about stop whining about it and go suck Bush's cock if you love him so much.

I certainly hope you're not directing that comment toward me. For chrissake, I know you weren't serious about it. I'm just pointing out to you that it might not be the wisest thing to say in a public forum, even in jest.

Actually, IF397 (besides being an immature moron) is not stating which president he would like killed so he is not guilty.

Latest News: Kill the President!
However, if he changes it to be clearer would not only be a complete moron in all aspects of life and would further degrade his stupidty amongst us all, but then would be guilty of what I mentioned. And I might add, Tony, before you do such thing -- there are people here who know your real identity (or could find it if it was forgotten in about five seconds with an IM to a certain known identity), so don't be a tard.

I have also noticed since you have become sooooooooooooo anti-God how nicely your language skills have degraded to a level beyond that of a common thug. Geesh, what a transparent little wanna-be kid you are. Stop trying to impress, none of us above the age of 18 are impressed with your antics.

Edit: I almost forgot! They have an office right downtown so a simple car trip is all it would take ... no pressure though cause you don't care, right? Yeah, that's the way ... "Fight the Man"!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaanyway ... it was not IF who had that in his bio originally, but someone else and again, they were informed.

No, it was not directed at you. I was hoping it wouldn't sound that way but I guess it does, sorry.

Guess that means I won't be arrested then! [:P] I'm so happy.

And I might add, Tony, before you do such thing -- there are people here who know your real identity (or could find it if it was forgotten in about five seconds with an IM to a certain known identity), so don't be a tard.

What an idiot. You think you could get that information from anyone I've told it to? (which is only one person whom I have told if I remember correctly, and they would NOT tell it to you unless they had my permission first.)

But, maybe I should be scared since you know my FIRST NAME!!! [shocked]

Ugh, you aren't impressed with me? Darn, maybe I should try harder to make everyone here like me, I mean, I'm getting so depressed.

And I'm sorry that my language has offended you. I didn't know that words such as "love" would offend anyone, after all, its just a sound anyways, right? Or was it a phrase I said?

Oh I get it... its bad because the BIBLE says it is. Gotta keep my mouth shut from now on. Wouldn't want to make that God looking over me unhappy with me now.

And if you think my language has "degraded to a level beyond that of a common thug", then you just might want to find out how those things speak. At least I use propper spelling/grammar unlike thugs/"gangstas".

Proper has one "p" in the middle. When you make a point, you might want to be sure your own evidence is tight.

In regard to everything else (primarily): "Actually, IF397 (besides being an immature moron) ..." -- thank you for so elegantly making my point for me, I rest my case. *sigh*

Ok, next time I'll make sure that each and every thing I say is absolutely perfect.

Hope I didn't spell anything wrong that time, or I guess that means I don't have proper([;)]) spelling or grammar. That would suck.

i certainly dont approve of killing the president.. i don;t think killing anyone is a good idea. if you want him out of office, find something to impeach him for. he's done plenty of stuff to get thrown out, it's not hard lol. just go to www.impeachbush.org for a list lol. but killing is always a bad idea. get him out the legal way!!

Actually I was thinking about this real quick this morning (I cannot believe I forgot about this yesterday) and no -- because someone knows your first name is no big deal. But, with the bio information you have out there:

From one site: Location: 10 minutes from Martin's Fantasy Island
From another site: Location: Tonawanda, New York

And if I am not mistaken, there is that nice webpage out there of your band with some very nice, crystal clear pictures of you on it (to which I will not bother trying to locate at this time) and your age that you have said in a ton of places (you are 15 or possibly have turned 16 by now) - I don't think it is going to take an investigative genius to locate you since I found all of this info in like 3 mins.

Aaaaaaanyway, all that together I don't think it is going to be too hard to locate you, eh? (Not too mention the threads on previous boards where you talk about your home park (MFI), etc., and how close you are to it, what you like to do, etc.)

Just be careful what you tempt my friend -- that is all I am (and was) saying.

First of all, you still don't know where I live. With that information (10 minutes from MFI, and Tonawanda NY) you still couldn't track down where I live too easily at all.

And I'm sure the police could locate me just fine. You think they're going to do anything to me? I'm only 15! They can't lock me up in prison.

Quit being a jackass with the whole "I can find out where you live... be scared!" theme going on. Its pretty love pathetic.
