Oh yes, funky British guys describing cars is truly hilarious. And the contests they have are funny too.

Actually I think their word useage is far and above that used here in the States. Its one of the many reasons I love the show. The accent is great but the choice of words is both hilarious and enriching as well. They use words that have meaning...we use words that...are stupid.

The contests are great too. The recent one was three of Britains smartest professors trying to do a burnout. It was great.

I'm sure the burnout thing was great. Smart people trying to do things that country boys from the southeast can do very easily (Nascar Drivers). Did the professors try to use math to calculate what they needed to do for a burnout?

Im surprised you guys all like Top Gear. I thought it was only an English show. Jeremy Clarkson has an extremely funny sense of humour. Its too bad i always seem to miss that program.

I loved it when they tested which car was the strongest by doing a number of things like crashing it into a brick wall at 40mph. And then dropping it from a height, and then trying to drive it in the sea. [lol]

I love it, I watch it whenever its on BBC2. I don't really Jeremy Clarkson, I mean he's a funny guy, but he's also a proper twat [lol] ...... and he thinks that Lancer Evo's are girly cars, for which someone should kick him in the hair, rape his childrens pets and mess up floral arrangments a bit. The other two are a'ight though, Hammond is like my dad only my dads like 200 pounds heavier [lol].

I love the things they say when they have American cars on there, that always cracks me up, it'll crack me up even more now I know Americans actually watch the program aswell [lol]

LOL.

after all of this it still worked

Yeah, it trundled along at like 8mph and had bits falling off it, but yes, it still moves. AWESOME. [:D]

The final test for the Toyota truck was they demolished a building and they had it sitting on top. Surely youd think dropping it from like 20 stories or something tall would crush it but nope...it still ran with minimal work.

As for Evo's being girly cars. The base model? Yea. But like all of those small, girly 2door coupe cars they have an infinite number of things you can do to make them more powerful.

Ive got one all tricked out in Forza Motorsport so its not that bad a car once its got a new body kit, better rims, turbo, etc. Stock though, its like a neon, its a girly car. Just admit it Gouldy. :P

My all time faves are the races where Clarkston takes a car and the others take some public transportation. The last one with the Ferarri Scaglietti was priceless - beating them be like 1 mile.

I always watrch Top Gear, its a great show. I personaly loved the episode when they got to rent a field and went nuts with ATV's and quad bikes, etc. Seeing them caked in mudd made it look so much fun, not to mention the other guy (cant remember his name) just had the snip and riding the girly quads at around 10 mph [lol]

My friend had a video of them Demoing the H1 in Britian. Driving on a narrow road the H1 was to wide for other traffic to pass by.

Funny as hell show.

That Evo just doesnt look mean enough to pass off as a muscle or guy car. That model isnt exactly girly, but its no "Woah that things gotta move!" style car.

As for cars that could act like Test Track - many cars could replicate that. My 99 Alero can really go if I stick it in 1st gear.

I love that show it's hilarious, mostly because their Brits and they have that accent. The cars they showcase are some of the best in the world, and I would love to have their job.

Yea I have the 3.4L V6 though its not very powerful it still has the acceleration.

Of course next to a V8 with alot of torque Ill get wasted. I didnt buy the car to race with, thats for sure.

The next car I want is a 05 or 05 Mazda 6 I Sport. Id then like to stick a turbo in and take that 170HP up over 200 and the thing would really go then without sacrificing fuel economy which is why I want a 4 cylinder car. I wanted it before the price increase and I certainly want it now.

I wish the show was on more frequently though. Its so great. They do some of the best reviews ever. The thing I love most is the camera work! Whoever does that is a true genius with some amazing creativity.

Yes the Mazda6 is awesome, but may I recommend the Mazda3s. You could put the turbo on that (same engine), it would have better fuel economy, it would go faster,it's cheaper, and the car magizines I read (Car & Driver Road & Track Motor Trend) say the 3's handling and chasis are better.

I agree, it's a shame they only have it on once a week (wendsday at 10) it's a great show.

^^ Yea but theres no back seat! I need a 4 door car with ample room in the back because I go on alot of trips. I understand smaller car - similar engine - turbo would probably go faster but I need the size.

What I drive now is a 4 seat 2 door and the 2 door SUCKS. I need a car larger than what I have now and to be honest, the Mazda3 is a sweet car but its the same size as my Alero.

Thats why I rule it out.
