eh, i could happen, but we'd need a rule so we dont see RollCon v.2 take place [;)]

no, actually a near 500 foot B&M is unrealistic b/c they have never ever built anything that high. the closest is a bit over half of 500 foot.

B&M makes a vertical lift? Where?
Just because another company does, doesnt mean another will.

Look at B&M also for launched rides. They have made none. Hulk's launch was designed and built by Universal themselves, not B&M.

But Intamin, Vekoma and Shwartzkopf have made them.

Every company has a direction and goal they wish to take and I dont think B&M is going to get into the vertical lift or launched rides. It just doesnt seem like their vision since last I heard (this last years IAAPA) they talked that they were taming their rides in favor of a more wide appeal to more people.

I do not believe Premier did it either. Considering that they use their own proprietary launch system with LIMS, it wouldnt make sense for what they came up with.

What I read years ago was that B&M said they could do the track but wouldnt do the launch system. So Universal came up with their own system adapted to the track. Basically all they had to do was reach a certain speed in a certain amount of time.

Ive never heard of any other company involved. Plus its Universal, they can handle it.

B&M wants to have a coaster that will have no downtime and will work no matter what. LIMs and other launch systems are still in the early development stages (LIMs first use in coasters was '96 at Kings Island.) The chain has been around for aeons and has been perfected.

In ten to twenty years, LIMs and Hydraulic launches will be almost perfect and I can bet you that there will be a B&M coaster with one of them.

I had this debate on TTF a few months ago. Maybe yo would like to see this??? It states that Universal did it themselves, and used a certain company to make/provide the propulsion method. This company was Reliance Electric?????????

Well, you guys are gonna lose your photographer for about a week. I'm leaving for DC in a few. I'll also be goin to a few parks on that side of the country, probably not GAdv so don't ask for Kinda Ka footage. More like BGW, Hershey, and Kings Dominion. Peace.
