Especially when you can just launch a ride to like 60mph and go nuts. Youd need to allow more digging or more height to get a proper lift going for a wooden coaster. They just dont carry the same speed like say, B&M's do.
One word: Boulder-Dash!
I'm sure users would appreicate your design skills if you could make a coaster whihc isn't the same generic drop - loop etc etc standard layout [;)]
Il well aware of good terrain coasters, but your terrain isnt hilly enough. Boulder Dash is built on the side of a hill/mountain foothill. Its got a 115ft drop. From the highest point to the lowest point on the template its under that. Plus, they were allowed to remove way more trees and because its built on a hill side, they could utilize more speed.
Theres not much in this template other than small hill crests, but no defined hill to climb up, go down and then sprawl on.
Dont get me wrong, great template, but you cant generate anything like a boulder dash from it.
I know users would appriciate it, but Im committed to another contest. While I think its possible, it would take alot of planning and design to get something that would appease me. Plus Id want an actuall hill to use and such, not mounds
