Sounds funny...
All RCCAs should be RMC'd. And that event shall be henceforth known as the Rollercaust.

Since inverts generally need more clearance for the ground, and cannot come close to 2.5 ft above the ground, can the limit be raised just for inverts?

Hmm, good point Ianko. Inverts can be up to 15 feet to accommodate for the higher heartline.

Ah, thank you. Now I don't have a awkward upward-sloped turn into the launch.

Also, the distance rules are measured by track verticies, not the whole track itself, right?

Correct.

BTW Sauron, your ride looks great, but I need to see it on the track exchange before I can judge it.

Last day to upload.

Unless of course I get fewer than 12 entries, in which case I will have to extend it.

I don't know why you need at least 12 entries. Your original post didn't say anything about that. The most important thing you said in that post was this: "The deadline for submission is May 31st. This gives you over a month to build something." A lot of us work full-time jobs, including myself, and yet I still made the time to meet the deadline. Ultimately, it's up to you to extend the deadline, but I think it would be unfair to those who made the effort to stick within the original parameters.

Here's mine.

^I agree, just because some people couldn't finish in time, doesn't mean it should be extended. But it's your contest, so do whatever you want.

Let me put it this way: at the moment, I have 3 valid entries. Oreo, Metalingus, and Polaris. This contest will have first, second, and third place winners.

So, 3 entries is not enough to effectively judge this contest. I have also realized that if only three people out of something like 20 who entered actually submitted a qualifying track within the deadline, then a month is too little for most of the population of this site. While in future contests I will have a longer deadline, right now there really wouldn't be any competition if I didn't extend it.

^Only three VALID entries? Wow. Perhaps you could eliminate one of the rules to make more entries valid. The one that comes to mind is the rule detailing the specifications of the station's height and location.

^The guy went outside of the template. The problem isn't that the person went bad with the station, he just went out of the template. Do a little search and you'll find it. Here: http://coastercrazy.com/track_exchange/ ... ?tid=16929

There were 4 entries total, 3 were valid. Now that mijke has submitted, there are 5, 4 of which are valid.

The fact that this ran into 1-2 weeks of the NLT hindered mine, and others efforts of wanting to do a coaster for this contest. Extending the deadline is a reasonable thing to do as the Nlt is on judging standby.

Sorry about my track! I had fixed the problem, but had uploaded the old file with the same name (Sily Me)! Good thing there's an extension...
