I waited to see what others would have to say. I understand - ratings are personal and subjective. However, RC Fryk rated my "Twister Again" quite low (in my opinion). I waited to see how others rated it, and not only is RC Fryk's lower, I feel it's too low for the coaster (of course, it's mine - I would) especially as compared to other scores for other coasters. It seems to me that any coaster that has a custom built station roof and queue lanes, a custom built queue entry and exit ramp, custom supports, and that took a couple of weeks to do deserves more than 6.5 for technical. Others say it's smooth. All RC Fryk said to support the rating was "rough spots" and "red". I already had explained in my description that I was going for specific sensations of lateral forces and that to eliminate the "too high" lateral readouts would mean to bank it more than I wanted, so I decided to accept the readouts because it gave the visual I wanted. There's nothing constructive or instructive in RC Fryk's comments. I haven't been told where specifically any problem is, nor have I been assisted with eliminating such problems in future coasters. An overall rating of 6.83, while above "average", seems too low for this coaster. Since there are multiple ratings, all above 8, it appears to me that one rating below 7 is out of line. I don't think there was anything bad intended in the rating, and eliminating it isn't going to change the overall score much. It's just a principle - the comments don't provide much suggestion. If someone scores any coaster fairly high (above 8) and provides little comment, that seems ok. It's hard to get into great detail about what one likes about a ride. It's more important to go into detail about one feels needs improvement and HOW to improve it specifically. Thanks for checking.
