A new LONG terrained woodie I've been working on.. for.. a day. It's pretty smooth with just only a few slight jerks that can easily be ironed out.

I'll probably be finished with the trackwork tomorrow morning. As for supports, well, that's another story. It's going to be hell to fix all the crossovers and stuff I threw in.

Oh, and it's "fantasy" coaster. Mainly because the Gs are a little too high (vert. 4.5 to -1.6 I believe) which is acceptable on a steel coaster maybe, but not a woodie.

That, and it's about... 4580ft. long.

1.6 isn't terrible, EE. I think we can handle it if the intensity is for the MUCH better. Same goes for the 4.5.

It's only about once in the ride that those Gs happen. I think the rest are all under +3.9 vert and -1.3... as for lats, i think the max is +/-1.7.

And I'm not gonna change them unless by modifying the track they so happen to change.

Update: I made custom terrain.

the G's are fine for a woodie to be 1.6 lats

its them darn intamins that you have to keep below 1.

That -1.6 was talking about negative forces. Which is fine as well.

I'll send it to thatoneband and vid, but, I don't really expect feedback unless you think there's a problem I should fix.

I'll send it when I take care of one problem I've been working on.

UPDATE: There's only about 2 areas I'm concerned with now.
And the Gs are now officially all under +4.1 to -1.5 vert. and +/-1.6 lats.[:)]

It's a crappy shot, but, it's hard to take pictures of.

I only have one spot that dives under it. However, it's still undermined by track because I did the whole "track-going-exactly-under-the-lift" technique.

------------

Picture of layout: http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/i33602

Some new facts:
After the lift, the ride never does under 34mph.
Maximum speed is 60mph
13 moments of airtime.
1:05 ride time (first drop to brake) 1:58 total run time.

Ok well, it's pretty damn smooth now.. no noticible pumps jerks. The lats are now about.. +/-1.7 max.. unlike the discovered +/-1.9. And the verts are safe.. under 4.1 (which is only there for a second).

On to the custom supports... [V]

EDIT: Is this acceptable? I think it is because the supports are all behind the handrails.
