I've been waiting for No Limits 2 to be released for the last couple years before working on any new projects, but for the last few weeks I couldn't bear to hold off any longer. I went into my old No Limits track folder to see if I had any designs that were up to my standards for realism and found this Raven-inspired CCI that was started 6 years ago.

The support work is just for display right now, it will be redone and detail will be added. Track and catwalk textures were made just because the default ones suck and I couldn't brook making a CCI without having ones that better matched a real CCI. They will likely be redone and remodeled with more detail.

I know this doesn't reveal much, but I want to finish ~500ft. of track first before the next set of screenshots. My goal is to avoid long intervals between updates and this will inspire me to devote more time to the project.

Ah, yes, that's true. I have to thank you for giving me a reason to dig up an old track and get back to work on it. If you hadn't shown interest in one of my previous projects then I may not have already devoted the time required to become reacquainted with the NL editor.

I'll send you the track file if you're still online.

I really love the trackwork and the supports. I am really pumped to see the drop into the ravine.

Here's a preview of it. I'm still tweaking the shape, but the layout won't change even if I end up having to slightly reprofile the drop.

The lift seems too short for the long layout. Unless that the current layout is just the upper section part.

I'm monitoring the speed the train cruises into the first lift segment each time I add more track to make sure the train will make it to the final brake run without rolling back.

Looking rather excellent so far, if I may say so. I love coasters where the biggest drop is somewhere in amongst the layout and not just at the beginning, gives the ride an extra depth (literally and figuratively).

Looking forward to this one; been a very very long time since I last saw something from you!

Not much. The drop leading into the flat turn needed a lot of tweaking. After the flat turn it will be heavily inspired by Boulder Dash, with a raised turn/double up that begins a winding airtime run along the cliff side.

Im excited to see how you do the terrain for this. You should pull a fiesta texas and make a cliff somewhere instead of a mountain

That's a neat idea, but I wouldn't be able to do the Boulder Dash run up-and-down the side of the mountain surrounded by trees thing then.

See if you can make some non-vertical cliffs, a parts of boulder dash is footed into boulders.

Maybe make Blocks of cliffs that have some hills on the side or something. It could end up being very beautiful.

I think you could easily have it run up and down the cliff. Maybe have some extra oportunities to drop off the cliff. Also rember that you can make separate teirs or staggered heights along the cliff.

Interesting, I wasn't aware of that. I'll try to add some more detail to the terrain such as that.

Thanks for that idea, I love it. I can picture what you and Jcoasters are recommending and it's definitely something worth adding in.

Ah yes, I was thinking of the word for the terrain you were referring to when you mentioned Fiesta Texas and I now recall - "terrace". It's a good idea and would indeed work as you described, but I'm not sure whether or not it'd be realistic to mix that with the classic mountain terrain. Do you think it could work or would I have to choose one over the other?
