Update disabled anti-aliasing?

Ever since the new update, parks don't look anti-aliased for me, even with SMAA 1x on. Only if I take a poster screen will it look better, but I shouldn't suddenly have to need pro just to take better looking screenshots or to see how good it could look in that instant. I'm using a GeForce GTX 1060 3GB.

Deferred rendering and FSAA don't mix.

Correct, and thus we now have SMAA. We look as good or better than other games using deferred rendering and SMAA.

Even going to NL2 program settings in the NVIDIA control panel, enhancing the application setting, changing the anti-aliasing setting, click apply, nothing happens. Zooming out in the Twisted Tyrants park still makes the supports look awful.

This can't be what SMAA 1x should look like.

They said everything's fine.
I had kinda wondered if it was even worth worrying about since the dev team confirmed multiple times that's the only option available, recording videos at high settings still looks good, and also what GBP said about enabling DSR.
