I'm sure just building a park and walking around in it is very fun

Was that sarcastic? If it was, then guess what? it's just a feature that would make the game more enjoyable when you want to take a break. If not, then sorry.

Anyways, I'm going to start sending emails back and fourth with him if I can. Get him to notice the flaws of RCT3. Who know, I could start sending shouting mail if he doesn't fix it up. [lol] Just kiddng, but seriously, he should make his developement team do research! Talk about the R&D teams in the game. Or start his own and dump Atari and Frontier! But the best alternative is to just simply get involved unless he really is a good baby sitter. [lol] Like one who can change thier diapers. [lol] As in, one who can clean up the poo the teams make, like that 4d mistake I keep ranting about.

No I wasn't being sarcastic. I'm sure that part will be fun, but the park building part just looks like crap.

Oh, then sorry. But anyways, I heard that the interface is going to be enhanced. BTW, do you think that fun exploring feature will be implemented? That's what made HR such a wonderfull game but unfortunatly, some peeps think that all RCT3 has to be is ride your rides and 3d constructoin and all that basic poop. They think way too small. THINK BIG, GUYS, THINK BIG!!! Anyways, back to my RCT2 park. And I can stay at RCT2 and just send them hate mail if RCT3 sucks, lol.

You people have to high of demands, your forgetting that this game is more bent around park opperation than roller coaster designing, its about that too, but more so around making a great park, you people just don't realize how hard it would be to throw an actual coaster sim like SM or NL in a RCT, and I'm sure the Atari people are doing fine, that monorail ride looked pretty impressive, and that was just the monorail, I also like the wooden coaster they have, I think that is by far thier smoothest ride.

I just got rid of all I was going to say just because I didn't want you guys suffering from reading miles and miles of the same thing over and over.

Anyways, I have high demands because of everything I mentioned above. Read through it all then, I guess.

Oh, and sorry for my annoying typos.

I have to agree with thecool326. Pretty much hit it on the nose. RCT3 is going to be about building and creating a theme park and interacting with it on a level that didn't exist previously - with any game or sim.
And keep in mind, there is a difference between a Sim and a Game. You really can't compare the two. Somebody earlier said something about NL comparing to RCT3. Ok no. It just can't be done.
There are so many features that rct3 has like the day and night cycle and firework displays. Anyone try Blastmaster - (created by the same guy that made Ultra Coaster), letting you time the fireworks to music. It was pretty cool but only had a like 8 different types of fireworks. They said there are like 30 in rct3. I think it's very exciting to see the effort they're putting into the AI of the peeps. Families traveling through you park together? Placing speakers around the park with music of your choice, lit rides because NOW THERE'S NIGHTTIME. Um that's pretty ultimate if you ask me. It looks like the engine they created is very similar to the one used for Vegas Tycoon - Make It Big! Beautiful sunsets to lighted sidewalks, neon signs and lazers shooting through Vegas. This game has some pretty awesome graphics. It does have a few themed rides like ferris wheels and observation decks. I couldn't stop thinking while playing that they need to use the same techniques for a themed park building game in 3D. I guess I'm not too picky. I just can't wait, after all the time put into designing the perfect park, to walk freely and explore it along with the guests. I'm sold. There are so many things that are really turning me on to this game, from watching the videos and reading the interviews. Animatronic sharks jumping out of the water for the monorail guests. Wild West sideshows with actors and explosions. I guess the next judgement day will come next month, when they release a demo. (we'll see about that.) I guess I can't see why someone wouldn't be excited about this game coming. There is no other game like it. You can't build a park in 3D like this anywhere. Don't even compare this to frickin' STP either. That game should never be used in a sentence with any other game or sim. It's just crap. It was designed for 5-11 yr. olds. Anyway. I think I babbled enouph.

The visuals somethimes seem to be done to cover up the "poo". Actually, stp and sc wasn't designed for anybody, just to piss us off. I kinda agree with you but I think they should put at least a little effort into the coasters. I don't want to be playing RCT3 and at teh same time, waiting for the hackers to save us all. That's like what they did to RCT2, all the custom scenery had to have a file converter to them, right? Even though it wasn't hacked. But since they were smart enough to waste time on WW and TT without anything new, they also had to hack the game with trainers in order to make a ttd, right? Anyways, STP and SC is more than just crap, it's @#$%^&*!!!!!!!

Yeah, I don't think there's going to be a way to create custom stuff for RCT3. Not anytime soon anyway. So it will be limited to the objects and themes that ship with the game. That's probably my only dissappointment at this time. But I can deal with that. Like I said, they'll have much opportunity for expansions. Only time will tell.

That doesn't matter because some genius hacker will create a program that can import 3ds's. I'd say that 50% of our RCT gaming experiences rely on those magical hackers.

BTW, what if chris sawter falls asleep again and RCT3's expansions become crap? [lol]
