As most of you know, I love posting tracks in the forums and the exchange; however, I have been getting yelled at lately for posting Youtube videos in the forums of my rides. I still do not know why the track files do not show in my listing whenever I try to upload them I have several tracks that I have been working on over the last couple months that I would really like to share with the CC community, but, since I cannot upload them right now, I am at an impasse. Is there anyone who would be willing to let me flood their e-mail and take the time to upload the tracks for me, or, if anyone knows what I could possibly do to make the files visible through the upload command on this site it would be greatly appreciated. I know the files exist because I have been loading them through the editor and sim and I have gone through the directory to make sure they are not hidden, but still the do not show in the track folder when I try to upload them, please someone help me. Any constructive assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

What kind of operating system do you run? If it's windows 7, completely disable UAC.

If you are able to email the file I will happily put it on the exchange for you.

I have sent a PM with details.

If you're running Vista or 7, this is a porblem you can have, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it.

What you can do is to simply upload them in a .zip folder. I have been doing that with my contest tracks, as they don't appear in the listing when you try to upload them to email or here. If you can drop them in a .zip folder, the folder will definitely appear when you try to upload... the only thing it means is that everyone who downloads it will have to open the folder, but at least they'll be able to ride your coasters!

That's all I can think to do anyway.

I am running on Windows Vista. Unfortunately I cannot save as a .zip file because while cleaning my hard drive a while ago I accidentally deleted Winzip from my hard drive and have no other file compression software. Thanks Gav I got the PM. I appreciate everyone's help with this.
