New pictures of the track in progress. I'd say this is about 90% complete and I will be able to start on the supports and terraforming this weekend.[8D]

Yes, just one. I wasn't planning on adding one but I thought "why not?" I think it adds to the ride. [;)]

that one part at the tunnel probably has a way to small radius.
the g's at that point must be about 15 or something, right?

OC (object creator) is not very flexible. I recommend using anim8or ( www.anim8or.com ) which allows you to do alot more things. You can use both of course, but I wouldn't spend $$ on OC. (you should be able to find a way around the 20 brush limit anyways) For me, if I ever us OC, it's for the texture mapping, though I recently figured out how to do it in anim8or (it's still kind of weird, and you have to map before you move the points around) For OC, I've have been using it's textures for one of my projects though (I'm hoping to be able to use my own later on, but I currently am not very good at making textures.)

I haven't tested the g forces yet; the track isn't finished. Is there a way to test the g's on an unfinished track?

Just hit the connect-key (usualy c), then press F5 if you have NL5, if not you should just open the track in the editor, then you can see on top of the screen the vertical, lateral and acceleration, the limits i use are these:
vertical -1 / +4.5
lateral -1 / +1
accel -1 / +1

btw, i'm not sure if the acc is correct, can someone verify?

I use these:

Vertical -1.5 / 6.0
Lateral -2 / +2 (mostly for woodies)
Accel -2.5 / 3 (highest rides near 2.4 and the flyers produce the same G's on your back)

ain't that a bit high?

Not for something like a Schwarzkopf looper.

Well I tested it and the g's are pretty high in some areas. Switching to a simpler layout so I can practice on technique more. I think someone suggested that to me earlier. Good idea [lol]

Only part of it was, sorry this is taking so long. I'm new to this sim and I want it to be the best I can put forth. That plus there's so much going on right now with me that I can only find a few hours a night to work on any of my rides. I'm shooting for a July debut, but only time will tell.

I've been dinking around with this forever it seems, but I am committed to completing this project. After trial and error and seeing what my weaknesses are in NL (mainly making smooth turns and transitions), I've come to the realization that I am not ready to make a "No Limits" coaster in No Limits. What does this mean? Well, I build UR rides and I have pretty much perfected my own personal style for creating them, so I've decided to bring that style over to No Limits and blend the two into a hybrid creation. Sort of an "UltimaLimits" coaster if you will. It's going to be a traditional hypercoaster with an out and back design. I am going to continue work on it today and all this week. Hopefully by this Saturday the new layout will be complete. In the meantime here are some screenshots of Valley View as it stands at this moment; I'm planning on making this to the best of my ability and without tools for the most part.[;)]
