OK...You all know that a topic that has been posted to since you last logged on has its folder icon changed to a purple color....however, the sticky topics ALWAYS have that purple color. I propose that a sticky topic that has been posted to gets it's color changed to something other than purple so that people can see whether or not it has new posts. For example...

Bill logs on friday night. The NL contest topic icon is purple.
Bill logs on saturday morning. With no new posts, the icon is still purple.
Bill logs on saturday evening. With no new posts, the icon is still purple.

Ideal scenario:

Bill logs on friday night. The NL contest topic icon is GREEN (or another color besides purple or yellow)
Bill logs on saturday morning. With no new posts, the icon is purple.
Bill logs on saturday evening. With 2 new posts, the icon is once again green.

Tell me what you all think about that idea....

ok, I see what's up, the two icons are too similar, this is the icon for sticky topics with new replies Image
and this is the icon for stiucky topics without new replies Image

I'll see if I can make the latter icon to flash in green for new replies and replace the first one in this post.

just topics that do not go down in the forum list, always at the very top of all categories. go to site related forum and the two topics up, I think official medal count and donations, never go down the long list based on time of last post, always remain at the top :)
