Yeah, they're on Warner/VEVO/all that crap, I guess they're hot sh.it. To me they sound like Nickleback trying to play punk, and we weren't the only ones who left after La Dispute.

Again though, I shot Converge there without a problem, with flash. I don't hold many bands with higher regards than Converge, but maybe that's just me. There is no way punk nickleback should be bigger than them though, something isn't right in the world.

(Last part was just so I could plug my Converge set; first show I ever shot and got some of the best pictures I've ever taken IMO: http://www.flickr.com/photos/boulderdas ... 723481269/ )

If Converge wanted to, they could have been just as strict as HWM. But look at Jacob. He's greeting people. He's chill. They embrace their fans. So that speaks volumes. That's actually the first time I've seen their picture. I saw them at FYF fest in LA last september and all I did was pit the whole time, the stage was pretty dark except for the occasional strobe light. There was a fat crowd for them though for such a small stage and who they were playing against which if I recall was sleigh bells.

Freddie, what songs did La Dispute play if you recall? I mainly listen to Somewhere at the bottom of the River. Among my top albums ever. I listen to the others, but I don't quite know the songs like I do SatBotR. Im thinking I'll need to check those out though if most of their set came from the others.

a Departure
The Most Beautiful Bitter Fruit
Harder Harmonies
I See Everything
Safer in the Forest
Andria
New Storms for Older Lovers
Said the King to the River
King Park

has been the opening setlist for this tour. End of King Park was nuts. Also my friend stayed for Hot Water for the Toronto show and said they sucked. If you don't feel like you have to get your money's worth I'd just leave (well, I already did, but that's beside the point lol).

Right on. Thanks for that list man! I hope the place goes off for that set. I was planning on feeling out HWM's set but i've walked out in headliners in the past so If Im not feeling their set its very possible It might happen here.

You should definitely listen to wildlife all the way through, its such a good album. It's kind of a collective of stories, and they all work really well together. I know king park comes from a true story.

I'm not too wild about Hot Water Music either. I dont listen to them nor do I really care to. But I might stay and mellow out. We'll see.

Don't stay, trust me. They blow cock.
