I honestly couldn't keep count of all the bands I have seen, but I like when I conversate with people and they bring up a band they'd assume I wouldn't know about and I'm like, yea I've seen them. They usually roll their eyes with disbelief.

I'm pretty sure I'm missing a few locals and a lot of bands I saw when I was a kid (OK Go at 95.5 WBRU's free summer concert before they were big comes to mind) but now that I have the list it's easy to stay on top of it. The thing I find hardest is keeping track of what band is what for my photography, which can get difficult.

Saw F.ucking Invincible, Full Of Hell, and Raindance, three of my favorite bands right now the other night at a free show at a taco place. Not gonna repost the list as I've seen all of them already, but figured I'd post cause it was such an awesome lineup and show. I'll post pics soon. If you're into hardcore or aggressive music at all I highly recommend checking all of these bands out.

Speaking of happy sunshine pop music, there's one band on the Warped Tour list that I'm super excited to see this year.... "Let Live." they go hard

I hope he got some good shots of Jason Butler doing something completely asinine. They seem like the kind of band that should have never have made it out from the darkest corners of the underground, but I'm glad they did. haha I'd like to see them get big.

I've seen Rush 13 tours now, Iron Maiden in 2012 and 1985, Triumph in 1983 and 1986, Judas Priest, 1982 and 2009, Yes in 1987, 1994, 1998 and 2011. Being a seasoned drummer of 37 years I lean toward prog rock but Nicko McBrain of Maiden is top notch.

Yes. Their real name is still Ghost though, they just bill as Ghost BC in the US. I have the swedish pressing (clear vinyl!) of their new album, and it's still just "Ghost"

i thought you might have meant "ghost" the insaneley good drag city psych band from japan, but i think they may have split up a while back. i did see them at spaceland about 10 years ago.

I've been trying to get all my pictures online and organized in the last few days, so here is a collection of photos from nearly 100 sets I've shot since last April: http://www.flickr.com/photos/boulderdas ... 463645980/

And since my last posting I went to the This Is Boston benefit show and saw Wrecking Crew, Doomriders, Dropdead, Slapshot, and Converge again. Felt sick that day so I went late and missed about half the bands. The show was absolutely brutal, though. Got a couple shows coming up next week, I'll update the big list then.

You better catch The Melvins set, they are one of the best live bands around.

Ah that looks like a cool lineup!

This is the one me and my brother are planning on going to: http://lineup.forecastlefest.com/?sort=day

Looks decent but we're going cause it's in Louisville so it's close by. A lot of local bands are on there actually, but it's got The Black Keys, The Flaming Lips, Toro Y Moi, Animal Collective...

Problem is I'm planning on seeing a race on Saturday so I'd miss Black Keys and Flaming Lips which blows. My brother said Black Keys were really good live. But I could still go Friday (for Boys Noize maybe) and Sunday (Toro, Animal, maybe give Baauer and Datsik a try but not my thing).

Haven't been to a music festival so it'd be cool.

I was planning on it!

Jay if you make it out, we'll need to catch a set and some drinks together. I dont think we'll have to worry about the kids, they'll go watch the dj's and drop e at some other stage.
