Ok im in a youtube debate while i battle what may be swine-flu,and someone on there insists they know there stuff and that that the KMG Tango is a knock off of the Zamperla Shocker!

Now the Shocker for those who dont know is as so far as i know the knock off off the tango.. For instance some stats

Tango was around in 2002,while wiki says the shocker was released in 2003

Tango-has a patented standup design, while Shocker is a bog standard sitdown ride

www.kmg.nl for the tango

www.zamperla.it for the shocker

Tango has powered rolling seats to maximise the experience, yet the shocker has free rolling

Tango at full hieght is about 70ft yet the shocker is about 40 i think

Please if any1 knows any info, details, facts etc please post, i think im right but

Hmm... I haven't heard about the shocker before so I tried to do some research but there isn't much info out there.

I hoped to find some working footage of the ride. On the zamperla site the video doesn't work.

But yeah, detailed info from the Shocker:
DETAILS SHEET
Minimum Passenger Height: 130 cm ( 52?????????)
Length Dimensions: 11,47 mt (37????????? 7 9/16?????????)
Width Dimensions: 15,25 mt (50 ????????? 0 25/64?????????)
Height Dimensions: 15,70 mt ( 51????????? 6 1/8?????????)
Maximum Ride Weight: 30500 kg. (67200 lb)

And from the Tango on the KMG site:
Sizes (w x d x h): 13.4 x 21.7 x 23 m (44ft x 71ft x 75ft)
Number of gondolas : 3
Weight: 36 tons
Capacity persons: 24
Power: 250 A, 400 V
Persons per hour: 750
Number of transports: 2

According to that was that Tango for the first on the fairground in 2001.

Hmmm... It's tough to get some proper answers on the question since there isn't much known about the Zamperla Shocker.
Coastercount: 1410 (I've seen the world and it's horrid contraptions... @.@)
- Wood: 142
- Steel: 1268
