I recently finished a ride and the G's were all in the green for me. I let two people test my ride and they told me one of my turns pulled 3.5 lat's and I'm really confused why this is doing this? Does anyone have any solutions to this problem? I really can't fix a problem that can't see and I don't want to be down rated for it.

Thanks.

P.S. the problem spot doesn't even pull one lat for me.

Maybe cause you use Mac?
All RCCAs should be RMC'd. And that event shall be henceforth known as the Rollercaust.

This happened to me in newton2... I made a perfect ride and in the sim it pulls 6 gs and more. Were you using Newton?

all things are equal with your testers except your mac, so, it's your mac!

How's your fps?

I know that a too low fps rating on computers, could make false g-forces readings. I had that long time ago when I started. G's were fine to me on my crappy computer, but when I saw the ratings from people they noticed higher g-force readings than my computer used to show...

Also maybe their problem is that they have checked g-forces on 25% speed? That sometimes shows spikes because of the direct force reading in NL.

I'm running on about 12 fps[:D] I also tried slowing the speed 25% and looking up at the sky(which gives me about 50 fps) and I still never saw the problem.

Sounds like how my old Windows 98 computer ran NL. Turning off the layered sky would give a 10fps boost. I think you need a new computer for more reasons than running NL. (Like... browsing the internet and watching videos.)

Perhaps the tester had an outdated version of NL (that doesn't support improved friction)? Though if this happened with more than one tester, that would be highly unlikely.

Browsing the internet works just fine but videos are slow. Ill try turning off clouds.

EDIT: Thanks my FPS just went up to like 20 something!

Well, there is your problem... It really means you need to get a better system in order to see some of those problems.

Best things you can do to boost fps:
- Lowest resolution possible
- Water reflections off
- Fullscene antialising off
- Water on simple
- Shadows off

That used to work a lot for me and it hopefully let's you show the forces better. And if you'd eventually want to take screenshots, turn up the quality temporarily. [:)]

I do all of those things. Turning off the clouds made it go way up but my G-force stats still hasn't changed.

You may be using a different friction option. Under coaster options, make sure that you or your testers are using "improved" friction.

improved friction? It would make that huge of a difference.

and yeah some rides read way differently with the FPS that your computer is running..
