well the matterhorn was my first, then the gold rusher at magic mountain.my first wood was the giant dipper at santa cruz. it was when they had tose yellow bubble cart trains and my dad showed me halfway through that the stainless steel safety bar never locked, my dad's a rollercoaster pro, who rode the cyclone racer with no seatbelt.. he held the bar and i felt safe, but it sure was funny when we got to the station.. ..

The first coaster that actually got me obsessed was Might Canadian Minebuster, back when it still still at least sort of decent.

An old classic: Giant Dipper at BelMont Park. It is now a national landmark, so it can't be removed [:)] I believe it has been operating longer than Cyclone at Coney.

Then my first steel was Montezumas Revenge.

My first major ride was Gwazi when I was in 1st Grade. It was the green train and the ride actually dueled with the yellow train. The ride was much smoother as well.
Oh, were you expecting something here?

My first ride was X:\No Way Out. My second was this: http://www.rcdb.com/ig1070.htm?picture=1 I'm really surprised that I like coasters as much as I do today frankly since that Pinfari was the most painful pile of junk ever. It probably had something to do with the fact that I was obsessed with rides 5 years before I rode X:\ (three years ago)

I was actually completely terrified of roller coasters when I was little. I went on Jr. Gemini when I was like 5, but the mere thought of going on Magnum or Mean Streak was completely mortifying. It wasn't until Raptor was built in 1994, and my dad tricked me into going on it by saying "This isn't like the other roller coasters," that I finally went on a "real" one. It was so fun though! I screamed like a maniac the whole time, and I haven't looked back since. [lol] Now I'm the one dragging my dad on stuff.

My first roller coaster was The Beastie (Formerly known at Scooby Doo and currently known as Fairly Odd Coaster.) when I was fairly little. It is a great coaster for beginners!

I'm not entirely positive on mine actually. It might have been Sea Dragon at Wyandot Lake, or possibly even Magnum at CP. I suppose there's also a good chance that it was Space Mountain at WDW...
But the one that got me hooked was...my friend, who was obsessed long before I was and led me to a few websites, which led me to more, then more, then finally here. He also introduced me to NL, which is what actually sucked me over to the dark side.
