I care! Many other care too I'm sure. Don't forget SFMW is also a wildlife exhibit, not just a theme park only. The theme park is the majority yes, but not the whole.

I wonder why people are so ungrateful these days?

I know a list of parks who havent gotten A coaster in the last 2-3 years, let alone one worth mentioning. Its not Marine Worlds fault that the SF franchise destroyed what WAS an amazing ride. I hear its still very intense and fun, but some people just cant get past some headbanging.

Oh, heres a list too of parks that havent gotten stuff in a long while:

Paramount Canadas Wonderland - 2001
Islands of Adventure
Six Flags America - 2001
Six Flags Astroworld - 1999
Six Flags Darien Lake - 1999
Six Flags Fiesta Texas - 2000
Six Flags St. Louis - 2000
Six Flags Over Texas - 2001
Worlds of Fun - 2000
Holiday World - 2000
Michigans Adventure - 2000
Kennywood - 2001 (if you count Phantom being rebuilt, if not, then its 1999)
Knoebels - 1999
Paramount Great America - 2001 + they just lost a large ride

You arent the only one. Theres hosts of parks. And personally, you guys have a great floorless ride along with a unique Intamin Shuttle. Considering the park IS partly a wildlife exhibit, Id sort of be thankful for that.

It just gets annoying to hear people crying and moaning over what their local park is or isnt doing. Remember, Six Flags isnt in the greatest of financial situations at the moment, very few parks are getting much at the moment, or the next year or 2.

i have at least like 20-30 parks around me and alot of them didn't had any new coasters since 2002, or earlier. I agree that then parks become boring but sfmw isn't the only one with problems on the cash. All over the world they have problems. Or else plan a trip with your family and go explore the rest of USA, or explore europe. So You get sometimes something different [;)]

For 7-8 years I didnt go anywhere else than CP. Yes, Im blessed to live by a place that regularly gets something new, usually cool and fun to ride. But I eventually got bored of riding the same things.

I can understand if you cant drive, cant do things on your own as I assume but theres no use in complaining about it. The 2 parks you live next too are NOT extreme thrill parks. Paramount is definatly a no go and while Marine World is a Six Flags Park, they wont be sinking any huge investments into it anytime soon it looks like.

So theres no reason to really bellyache over the situation. As I said, theres many many other people with more reason to cry than you. Think of the people in Canada...theyve got virtually nothing good to ride and the one park that does have some decent rides is over in Montreal. which for alot of Canadians is a massive drive/bus ride.

Yeah and La Ronde is very poorly run....Their racing woodie..NEVER RACES! Six Flags has flushed that park down the toilet.
Paramount treats PCW like six flags park. All pcw gets are clones. Everything at pcw is a damn clone! The only thing good at pcw are the flatrides, hehe.
However, I do feel lucky to have the CNE come to Toronto every summer....sooooooo many rides :D

However, I'm not one to complain about that kind of stuff. I am thankful that I have a decent sized park near me.

Why should you be mad? I'm sorry but if your getting mad over the fact that your nearest park isnt getting anything extra special then your a bit too obsessed with coasters. Some people...

LOL! Yeah, Six Flags has really screwed Darien Lake over....
I thought they were getting a new slide or improvement to their water park?

man, cork it, you got all your rides all at once, instead of over a period of time, the park looks pretty full to me, and I'm sure it looks the same to Six Flags. You have a number of coasters, and you should be happy.
