I vote... Neither. They both have policies that bring down the group that the other supports.

I think McCain will win. Everyone always underestimates the number of Republicans.

If by "won by a landslide" you mean 50,999,897 votes to 50,456,002 votes. And what do you mean by "the electoral college will not vote for a man like Obama?" Please elaborate...

I didn't think it was that close. My mom who voted in it
said that gore should have won by a ton (i was 6 at the
time so i wouldn't know). By electoral colledge i mean the reps adn senete. Each person in each divsion gets one vote and sually they go with what the people in their state voted for but (again eightgrade history teacher told me this) they do not have to. So while your votes may influence what the electoral colledge votes it may have no effect at all.

Although I vote Mcain, I am still not sure. First of all, Mcain picked an unexperianced person(which is palin), and obama(who doesnt have as much experiane as mcain) picked biden(who does have experiance). I guess i am nuetral.

Well, Mccain is old, so that is minus 1 point. Obama is black and young, so thats plus 2, but minus 1 for having a scary name. McCain chose Palin, who is young and a woman, which I was nervous about, but then I remembered my love of boobies, so plus 2 for mccain. Then there is Biden, who is kind of creepy looking, which im keen on, so plus 1.

McCain = (-1) + 2 = 1
Obama = 2 - 1 + 1 = 2

I think that is where I stand as of now.

it is extremely rare for the electoral college to go against their majority. and after what happened the last time they did, i would hope they will never do so again.

Although I fully support McCain, there is no point. Americans are retarded. Obama will win and America will crumble. At least I have family in Europe.

Wait a sec here, you think that Obama will cause America to crumble when many of things he wants to do are similar to things that have been done in Europe for a long time?

Yea, you guys tried socialism, and that didn't work...

So you can't think for yourself. Good to know!

Also, Jayman is right about Sarah Palin. She was not selected to woo women voters, if anything she did the opposite. In my unresearched politically uneducated opinion, she was selected to appeal to the gun law people like my boss that think if you're not allowed to sell assault rifles to 10 year olds America is not truly free and we're all going to die in an apocalypse when the Arabs (pronounced Aye-RABS) come and get us because Bill Clinton and the gays single handedly caused 911.

I heard yesterday that McCain is behind Obama, 52-42. They say McCain has been slowly slipping away due to people's fear of Palin's in-experience. If McCain keeps slipping behind Obama, Obama's surely going to take office.

I guess the point I was making there was that I don't think anyone in electoral college would go completely against the votes of their state just because they don't like Obama personally, that's not the way the system has ever worked.
