Why do the Japanese jack up their jet coaster stations so high off the ground, so the disabled or elderly can't ride? Here's some examples of jacked up stations http://www.rcdb.com/3728.htm?p=22033 http://www.rcdb.com/1339.htm?p=17534 http://www.rcdb.com/2499.htm?p=14414 http://www.rcdb.com/3025.htm?p=13842 http://www.rcdb.com/4115.htm?p=22054 http://www.rcdb.com/1255.htm?p=15087 Japan doesn't care for disabled people or people who can not climb all those stairs.

It's not just japan. My local theme park has a coaster with the station 50 feet off the ground. I guess they figure that if you can't climb stairs, than it's probably unsafe for you to be on a rollercoaster.

Of course, it would actually be a good thing to be disabled in Japan, because you couldn't accidentally wind up on a piece of crap jet coaster :D

Perhaps a less ethnocentric view disguised as caring would be more appropriate?

okay, seriously

why do you like jet coasters so much? and why do the japanese?

what is the point of them? I know they have more intense rides in japan, so why are these so popular? Because it doesn't seem like they're only meant as kids rides, given their apparent abundance
So say we all.

They are so different and unique from our airtime machine coasters. I guess they are there to bore the Japanese to death. They are not cloned to death like ours are.

That first ride looks kinda fun. Look at how steep those drops are!

Out stations do not have plastic bins that look like they are from walmart in them.

^I wasn't aware that those bins were from Walmart, I was thinking more along the lines of 99 Cents Only or Dollar Tree...

On Raptor at Cedar Point they have the slowest elevator to take you up if you are handicap. It probably takes you five minutes just to get to the top. I agree some of the stations are too tall.

Jet Coasters are not suited for the disabled because even the diabled think they are lame and have no reason to want to ride them.
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.
