I hope we dont have 100 13 year olds kids beta testing again. First they suck at beta tester and second they think they are all of a sudden that much cooler that they are beta testing

And then they all have huge fights with us on WWS.com!!! Can anyone else remember that huge topic where we had like a load of weirdos having a go at WWS, even though he wasnt even on the site at that point. No mod or admin was actually on at that point, in fact there was only a few members on. It was fun though. [:)]

from what I've heard, there are tons of 13 year old's and under so I am expecting a misinformed result from the tests.

I, too, have heard that, I think they should take age into consideration when they do betas. To be an "actual video game tester" for a company they require that you at least 18 or graduated from high school, so yeaha,a who knows how well this might turn out.

they announce it on the forums, and every body goes, "Holy crap!" And then you send them an application, and they decide who they want.

It is underway now, can't say much so...

What's happened is that Atari have taken back many of the good Beta Testers Soaked, as well as brining in a good mix of new testers.

Therefore we will at least end up with a good amount of 'testing' happening rather than lots of 'playing' as with Soaked.

Whats Wrong With 13 Year Olds Testin Edge? You Being Ageist or Sumthing. Just Because We R Younger Than You Doesnt Mean We Cant Beta Test

I'm 14 years old(!) and I've just downloaded the beat. Its cool to be in but i'm not saying it to everyone on the internet. The most important thing for me is that we have no bugs in the game.Bugs can make a good game horrible, and I don't want that to happen with rct-3 Wild.

@The edge:Why should I be cooler than you guys.I'm in the beat .SO.. you guys can a least make desent NL rides,Thats somthing i can't.If I'm in the beta or not ,I still think most of(almost everyone) the people are much cooler than me.

Yes i am being agest and no you dont have to type every word with a capital letter at the front of it. Also the problem with 13 year olds testing has already been said, they dont actualy test the game, they just play it and go out and brag that they are beta testing some game. I could assure you that if you had a team of beta testers 18 and over, you'd find a hell of alot more bugs than a bunch on 13 year olds would

^^ Yes we are being ageist, and this is one of those circumstances where you can be ageist. 13 year olds just dont give as good quality feedback to atari, well overall anyway, thre may be one or two who do. Even alot of 13 year olds think the same thing. Take me for example, im 15, and i dont think anyone under 18 should be able to test it, same with thecool. Would you prefer to get a better game as the end result, or just a crappy game a little earlier???

i hate rct since it went 3d

Me too, i wish they still made RCT2 add ons. I hate RCT3, i havent even bothered reinstalling it on my PC since it crashed, i only play RCT2.

EDIT: seems me and edge had the same idea. [:p][lol]

well beta testers, report a bug for me that are still in from the start of the game:

- People are getting in the ride and start to fill up the front and then slowly to the back, on rct1 & 2 and real life it's always that the front and the back are filled up the first and the middle seats as last...

also suggest not having everybody crammed into the front of the que, i'd prefer to see like 2 or 4 peope per que segment instead of 50 billion! I like seeing a line instead of mosh pits. Nobody crouds up like that.[;)]

Yah, you wouldnt find 8 people per segment. People want their space so they don't jam in like that.

and a suggestion, make queue gates, so the peeps with high limits go in the front and back, the one with lower limits go in the middle

Or what about having the queueline on 1/4 tile. So we can make actual zig-zags. and only on the out-endings of the tile that it goes to 1 whole tile width again to make it better connect with entrances and paths. [:)]

Real queue lines are no where near as wide as the ones on RCT.

that would be sweet, but, that might be a little to much, and might effect game play (processor lag)

I know that you can have queue line objects on NL. This topic is about RCT though. The queues on RCT are as wide as normal paths. Queues aren't as wide as normal path at real parks though.
