Hello guys I was recently considering hand supporting a wooden coasters. for the members that do can you give me tip, toutorials, whatever you can to at least give me a feeling of what to do and what i'm getting myself into.

Whenever I do it, I use the basic supports and build off those.

It depends on what style of wooden supports you want to make. For CCIs and GCIs, I first autogenerate the basic supports (include handrails and catwalks). Then, I delete all free nodes in the supports under the track, so that there are only single verticle posts that stretch from the track to the ground. Then I place free nodes on each verticle support spaced 6ft. apart vertically. Connect all nodes so that the outside of the structure uses large wooden beams, and the inside are all small beams. Use diagonal bracing on the inside wooden boxes. Here's a pic of what it should look like:

Then, narrow the catwalks so that they take up about 2/3rds of the space between the rail of the track and the handrails, and move them right up against the handrail like this:

Change the posts that hold up the handrails from large beams to small wooden beams.

If you want to make the track even more realistic, which is worth the extra effort, make the crossties extend slightly off each end of the track. Make them using large wooden beams, and use 3 of them stacked vertically .5ft apart. It should look like this:
