watching a kid fall out of a bug ride at drayton manor. he fell out cracked his head on the concreate and broke his arm as the ride spun.

since then the ride was shut, removed, cut up into small tiny pieces and melted

I was riding maverick once in the second to front seat and a phone flew out of someones pocket and hit me in the head and went right into the pond.
Trim breaks are your enemy, retracking/smoothing is your friend. I miss b&m floored sit downs. coaster count=39

keh?

Try waiting for Air (which is a pile of sheisse when it's working anyway), for 2 hours, then having it break down, then wait a further hour for it to be fixed, the wait another hour to get to the station and have it break down when you're then next people to get on, then they close it for the day and fob you off with a priorit pass to go on ONE ride.

Spoiled Americans ey.

I was just pointing out a bad experience. I'm not trying to act spoiled at all...

I broke a nail on American Eagle. It was tragic. I cried all the way home too. :(

Mulholland Madness, me and my freind were sitting together and she's on the big side and when we went through the turns she would crush me and when we got off she complained of how bad it felt and I was the one that ended up with a bruise on my side...but we went on again but in different seats and boy was it ALOT better

Me and my buddy got ejected from a park a couple years ago. apparently telling that it was BS that a game is rigged and we want our money back deserves to be escorted out by a rent-a-cop.

oh, and at the same park a few years earlier when i was in 7th grade there was this girl that me and my buddy (different buddy) blew like 40 bucks trying to win stuff for her and junk. STUPIDO. oh well, gotta grow up somehow.

My first day at Mt Olympus kind of sucked....I only got Pegasus Cyclops and Zeus in because I had to do laundry. When I was done with said laundry, it started down pouring, so I missed out on riding Hades (I was kind of saving it for night time) after waiting about 45 minutes in the station for the storm to clear (it just got worse of course). I did get the Opa credit that night though.

Looking back on it, I should have just gone back to Zeus as it was still running, but oh well.

Also missed 3 coasters at SF Great America (Demon, Whizzer which I really wanted to ride, and one side of Eagle) because of getting stuck on American Eagles brakes for like a half hour. I made it back to Whizzer and was next to be on it, but they shut it down because it started raining. The rain just got worse and we ended up leaving. Not really enough to ruin my day, but I really would have liked to get those 3 coasters.

I crashed on a water slide at Holiday World... Jungle Racers. They had new sleds, and I slid straight through the splashdown area and smacked right into the little wall at the end. A quick bandage and 2 free tickets erased the bad experience, but it still hurt like hell.

this isn't a bad experience of mine, but I thought it sucked anyway...

I recently worked at HersheyPark as a games clerk and next to the entrance of the SooperDooperLooper was the game I was at when a small accident occured on the ride. Apparently, a young girl, about eight years old, recieved whiplash on the ride's first set of brakes. Then, on the second set, it happened again. This time she screamed. When the train stopped in the station the girl stood up, got out of the train, and collapsed. A minute later one of the HersheyPark ambulance vehicles arrived and the girl was escorted out on a stretcher with a neck brace. As I was heading to clock out for the day I saw a whole three benches and some curb occupied just outside one of the park's first aid stations. EVERYONE sitting there looked either furious, upset, or sick.

Working there was a terrible experience as well. end o story.

I try and focus on the good side of everything when I'm at an amusement park, but if I have to choose a bad thing it would be this:

CJD, i had forgot about the bad day i got stuck on a water slide and you just reminded me of it. its in the sand caslte in blackpool out side the pleasure beach. they got a water coaster which you sit in rings to go round not boats. the final lauch up the hill i just didnt make it right to the top. hafer being blasted with high preasure water for about 2 mins it shut off. that really hurt quite a bit and i stood up out of the ring and started talking to the people on the balcony next to where i was laughing with them. the attenedt rode down on his hands and knees and i had to slide down the last part into about 10 rubber rings to stop me. that really really really hurt as it was like sliding across rasors all the way befor a slam into some rings. when i got up my back was bleading and all i got was a refund, some chips and some free entrance tickets to the pleasure beach.

hense never going in the place again

I guess I ate something bad either the night before going to Six Flags Great Adventure or the day of at breakfast. After a little while at the park I started to feel nauseous, and not a motion sickness nausous. I had to step out of line for Nitro (would have been my first ride on it ever) and sit down. Then I had to wait in the huge line to get my season pass processed; every few minutes I had to sit down due to nausea. Evolution was open, but I couldn't ride (last time I ever saw it open before it was shipped off.) I ended up puking in the parking lot before leaving. Yep...great eff'ing day at the park!

ok, my worst was:

I was at SFDK for the halloween festivities, and me and my friends went on Medusa, and it was running 3 trains so it hit the brake section really hard and came to almost a screeching stop. So i went on with my friend, and once the breaks hit, i heard a POP! in my groin... Turns out I popped my hernia... That s*** hurt so unbelievably bad and i couldn't walk for about 30 mins. that was the best day ever... (sacrasm)
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

I drove an hour and a half to the Great Escape and they decided to close itself 10 minutes before opening just because it looked like it was going to rain that day. And it was the day I was going to ride Comet 100 times in a row :(. And it ended up clearing up later on, but they remained closed. Oh well.

In a park:
I waited for 30 minutes at Batwing, then it broke down for an hour, and later I got on. Probably the only time i will ever go to Six Flags America, and we had to leave at 3 to catch a flight. Still I say the wait was worth it though. Excellent ride and the best Vekoma I've ever ridden easily.

Wasn't nearly as bad as anyone else's, but I rarely ever have bad experiences in parks.

in wyoming, at the Rock Springs county fair, I got stuck on the Scrambler for 8 minutes while it was on full speed. The carnie was apparently very interested in his book; im suprised he could read. he could barely opperate that ride.

just for comparisson, a nornal ride on the scrambler is about 1 min. and 20 seconds- I was on it for 8 mins.

I'm pretty sure rides like that tun until they get shut off manually. I'm sure he was just messing with you guys.

Like on Indiana Beach's Paratrooper, the op gave us something like a 5-7 minute cycle (until people showed up wanting to ride). Was pretty fun.

We've had that happen before, except it hit someone in the fourth row right on the eyebrow it was busted when she came back. There was blood EVERYWHERE. We got an award for it though. =]
